If that happens I will ask no more from them. That is everything I will ever need to be happy in this game. Then this will be the most perfect game ever created.

Give them what they want I guess. I for one could never start over. I’ve invested too much time into what I have on my current character to think of starting fresh. Couldn’t be me.

I hope it flows well bc I haven’t played since near release and am at level 29 and am so lost returning. All I really did then was gather so I would like to start back up with my son and play through the quests together. At this point I have no idea what I should be doing or where I should be doing it.
Fresh start servers really wouldn’t work. You’d get all the top players making alts on that server just to punch down on some newbs and casuals.
Honestly, in your shoes I would just start new. You will make it to level ~30 in a evening or two tops. Leveling is much quicker now. But be aware, they revamped 1-25 and will do the rest in another update.
New revamp is not live yet I assume? Have they also sped up gathering xp rate in the last year?
Update is due in october. Yes all crafting has been made easier.

That happened at launch too mate. Top guilds that had played nw in beta for months or years who could min/max from lvl 1 steam rolled servers.
On our server everfall and ww were bought by a 500 man streamer company within 40 minutes and they absolutely dunked on the entire server.
This is not a factor that should even be taken into consideration. It is inevitable that the min/maxers will always be in the lead. Fresh servers would still be dope

Heck… I’d just be happy if I could start a brand new character and ingame email myself the coin I’ve already earned so it’s not wasted lol
This new update sounds like fun. I may consider rerolling as well

If by swimming animations you mean walking along the bottom of the ocean Terminator style…then yes.
I just wish they would then give us an extra character slot to experience this new leveling when it launches. I already made an alt and it is lvl 60 etc. I guess though since I don’t really use it much I could delete it.
I know everyone is high on hopium right now, but I wish you guys also see the flip side. I really don’t think they should release the leveling experience revamp in October. It would be better for the studio’s reputation if they stated that they want new/returning players to experience the revamp in full, so they are holding off the changes until the revamp reaches level 60. Brimstone Sands and Great Sword is enough content for now. Besides, what will you guys do once 25-60 changes come, which is a more significant chunk than the one we have now? Reroll again?

I really am glad that some people are finding the new leveling changes in the PTR fun. We had about 40ish peeps in our company start toons in the PTR just to revitalize ourselves. We’re down to 4 that are still doing it. Is it better? Yes it is. Almost to where it should have been on release. But is it keeping people playing? Not so much for the most part.
