Very well said, and worse yet the toxic ranting posts bury the few rare ones that are well thought out feedback looking at future options, not demanding things instantly. There are those of us who are MMO vets and remember how things are across the board in games at launch. A lot of these people are willfully ignoring history, or thinking that everything should be instantly what other MMO that have already had years of updates is.
As well as the few legit posts such as the lack of real female representation in the game (I mean I do not enjoy being made to look like a guy myself) just getting spammed with trolls screaming “no bikini armor” (something I would actually like as I personally enjoy it, but know other women do not so even if added all options should be available.) or “no pink bows on armor” when all that is being asked for is to not look like a generic male with long hair.
You’re misunderstanding OP. It’s not about the criticism, but the form. What’s wrong about keeping it constructive and leaving some of that emotion out. The anger and entitlement serves no one and does not help one bit with solving the issues.
Do you seriously expect players to be “constructive” when most of the problems, exploits, macros, bugs, glitches were addressed during ALPHA, CLOSED and OPEN BETA?
There is a reason why they delayed this game… or there should be one? It bothers me how it was delivered at this state.
It is weird when players claim childish or twisted “entitlement” issues. This stems from AGS not fixing known issues. To this day I’m still wondering what is the PURPOSE of ALPHA, CLOSED and OPEN BETA.

BTW if you are in line trying to return or voice out the problem of the product you purchased. And I’m right next to you saying you are angry and have entitlement issues. What fuels that logic? Do you work for that company? There is no reasoning for it unless you are a fanboi or you work for them, right? What makes it “entitlement” issues… no shit you bought it with your money right?
So why am I a gullible customer, a fanboi or an “online weirdo”? I don’t disagree that there are issues, that need to be fixed. But I am also certain, they will be fixed. Raging about it, is not helping and is certainly not going to speed up the process.

The people at the other side of the line are lying and telling news articles that this has been a mostly smooth launch and that they aren’t seeing any complaints. That’s frustrating to customers who clearly see a lot of issues.
What makes you certain they are going to get fixed? WHEN THE ISSUE WAS CALLED OUT ON ALPHA, CLOSED BETA AND OPEN BETA. That is some crazy amount of copium you got there.
Let pretend you tested a hammer and it has a nail protruding on the handle soo you know that every time you use the hammer the nail will hit your hand. Tells the manufacturer there is something wrong with it, manufacturer tells you they will fix it. You ordered and it was delivered to you with 2 nails by the handle instead of one.
That is what it feels like, because every patch they will add new glitches, exploits will come out.
Oh btw for the sake of “Treat them, the way you would like to be treated”. If you see me in any shopping mall and I tell you, You are angry (right to be) and you are “entitled” because you are returning a product that you have bought and dissatisfied with.

The ones who should be ashamed is Amazon. For releasing such half arsed product. If I did my work like they released this game I would be fired instantly. I don’t see anything wrong if people are calling them out. They fully deserve it. And what has changed with weeks Nothing. They break more than fix things. People who are defending such bs are the reason why we keep getting faulty products like Fallout76 and New World.

Yes the fanboy buzzword of choice these days that translates to please stop talking bad about the game I love it hurts me I need to believe this game is perfect to fill the void inside me.

But not this time though. I know everything that’s wrong with the game. I read about all the bugs and criticism.
The only thing I would do… Is provide kind and friendly feedback. That’s all the difference. I wouldn’t call anyone incompetent, I wouldn’t call anyone a failure, I wouldn’t call for anyone to be fired etc…
