Of all the exploits, broken things, bugs that this game can throw at us…
AGS willingly bugs out all mage gear and does NOTHING about it even 3 days later.
This is all beyond comprehension.

Can’t even play my build 300+ hours into the game. Literally unplayable when a mages abilities do no damage. Feel like your best bet is to level all weapons to 20 so you can play whatever is broken and most OP

Exactly…it does feel like a joke at times! I leveled up one character during beta and early at release sharing an account, and then got my own. Now all the excitement is kinda gone because of the bugs, and like you said…my favorite weapon(s) are bugged and useless.
Wish they would just shut this down, fix it all, and let us start over.
well dex range weapons are useless and mage weapons are now usless, you just want GA nad Hammer buidls or what? ags fix this

Yep ridiculous that they took the servers down last night and didn’t bother to fix this at all. It’s apparently doing nothing to stop people from creating lag anyways. How about you guys stop being cheap and hire some GMs to go ban these clowns purposely causing lag? It’s not hard to sort out when 50 people dump AOE with nothing else around to cause lag. Ban them for a week and cost them their towns n such, they will learn to not do it.
Leaving all the caster weapons broken and letting gaxe users sprint around is beyond stupid.

I have yet to leave my INT build so I been messing around with musket and rapier. Not very much fun when you are playing in the upper 40s to 50s zones. Go from taking on a few to almost dying to 1 or 2…Yay!

They really need to fix it all.
- IG and Fire Staff are both strong and balanced, they just need their functionality fixed. Ice Pylon, Ice Storm, Pillar of Fire…need to consistently work and need to not destroy the framerates when their effects go off.
- They need to fix the countless life staff effects that don’t work at all, don’t scale at all, don’t function well at all and things having their functionality removed. Just make it work right so life staff users can play. And then make sure LMB, Beacon and Sacred Ground don’t lag other players when they go off.
- And then they need to fix resilient so that people won’t continually blame heavy armor or healers for the reason why they are tanking multiple players at once. When damage dealers are doing 22.5% to 25% more damage and healers are effectively healing 29% less because the damage reduction is no longer there, then there won’t be as many complaints about the healing or the mitigation. It will still be there for 1v2 or even 1v3 if the DPS are awful, but the 1v5+ will go away.
- Then musket and bow. They deal very low DPS which makes sense due to how they function. Although their utility effects should include powerful debuffs that assist the team in dispatching targets. Things like the thrown hatchet’s disease that reduces healing by 30% should also be on bow’s poison arrows and musket’s sticky bomb. And more powerful slow effects should be on ranged weapons I have no idea why the slows they have are as weak as they are.

I’ve already decided that I’ll give in and go Axe/Hammer or Axe/Hatchet if this isn’t fixed with next week’s patch.
