What fishing poles were you trying to use?

you are fishing waaaay too close. You are also not using bait (hence the log “bite” time). If you have a better pole you’d have a chance at such a short range, but this is on you. Obviously the visual bug is just that, a visual bug, but the cast distance is your issue.

I used Fish’s Fiend on Summer Medleyfaire 2022 reward.

This case happens everywhere. It doesn’t happen with distance. It has already been reported as a bug (Fish's Fiend fishing pole unable to reel in fish)
