In addition to being plagued by worst of the worst population problems, this US West server has people playing on it from regions all over the world for the event, that otherwise would not.
I ask that you please kindly enable fresh to fresh character transfer from event servers before you do any merging.
The pool of players that would transfer characters would not be so big that you couldnt handle it, I dont believe.
I think this is a special case and warrants a temporary pause on your “no fresh to fresh transfers” way of thinking just to get these people in a better a spot.
Many of them (me included) are returning players for fresh start, whom happened to get keys to join the event. The server played out a lot differently than I was told it would, for a large combination of reasons, and has been a kind of miserable experience, especially now that the server is essentially dead. Combine that with ping issues and the writing is on the wall for another exodus. I would love to be able to get back on a US east server and I dont see myself playing past the event without that.
It would really go a long way in player retention if you would allow this. No returning player is going to want to stick around in either a dead server, or one that is far outside their region (lots of EU people in this server).
Please, please, consider this, its a time sensitive matter for many. Thanks for your time.
