I BABY ZARIEL challenge AGS, to form 5 ppl group and do video about OPR.
If ags will accept my challenge, i will buy all emote and all skins on next big pach.
wow ![]()
Pretty sure you own them all allready.
id actually like to see that. make it around noon on barri and film their reaction.
Yea but they have to announce day and time they will play and it has to be top pvp server in region ![]()
And step two: each of this 5 devs play solo OPR ![]()
Can they play musket?
I dont think they can but we should put a musket squad against them.
After experiencing how it feels to play against a hitscan weapon that 2-3 shots you all across the map we might get a musket nerf at the same day.
You can’t challenge someone who doesn’t play the game ![]()
Everyone says hitscan and drop off are the fixes and I don’t disagree but there’s one major issue with the game that makes this way worse and that’s the name plate visibility. Name plates showing literally through brick walls is a problem anyway (why should I know someone is behind a closed door?) but the fact it shows through foliage that you can otherwise not see through is a major reason muskets (in particular because they can zoom) dominate in OPR.
That foliage does nowt to conceal you. It should.
That’s it.
The name plate system in this game is… so bad. I am so surprised so few seem to mention how bad it is. It’s like a tab targeting game. But it’s not a tab targeting game! It’s an action game! But we can see targets through walls! Why the hell are people not bothered by this?
(Don’t get me onto how bad they are in wars).
The game needs better obfuscation/occlusion routines. Enemy name plates shouldn’t show unless you literally mouse over the target and there’s a clear line of sight between you and the pixel you’re targeting. The fact that the game alerts me to enemies by glaring red names off the edge of my peripheral vision is bad enough but the fact I can see them through doors is just poor.
If foliage actually blocked line of sight as it should do then we could use it as cover.
A great point, something I thought about a lot my first 40 hours and have been “used to” since.
Ranged would be much harder if you didn’t have that SHOOT HERE indicator.
