I don't even know what to say

Could you try turning Steam into offline mode then turn it back to Online mode?

Are you using any internet filtering services or similar things that could be blocking the New World authentication services?

ive tried the online mode offline mode thing many times doesnt seem to work, as for internet filtering services or similar things, i have no vpn or anything of that sort active no. the most odd part of this all was i logged out for the night and like 6 hours later got on to this and nothing seems to fix it

Could you let me know if https://service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com/ loads for you? Should say something like <UnknownOperationException/>

it says - "This site can’t be reached

Check if there is a typo in service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com." -

Could you send a screenshot? Make sure it has https at the start.

this is what it takes me to

Could you open the windows command prompt and run nslookup service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com to see where the issue is?

Don’t post the first portion but the part that starts with Non-authoritative answer would be what I’m interested in.

Do you possibly have a Pi-hole or similar DNS-based adblocking system?

so like window + r cmd and then copy paste “nslookup service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com

Yup

it just says " *** Can’t find address for server service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com: Unspecified error "

Alright, so somewhere along the line your DNS isn’t returning the correct response. Do you have any idea what DNS servers you are using?

You can also run this to get more details on what actually went wrong:

nslookup -d2 service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com

This happens to me quite often. I just log out of steam and log back in

He’s tried that above. This is some sort of DNS issue, rather than Steam.

I mean completely logging out.

Oh…I just saw…dang

what do you mean like what dns server?

Your router has a DNS server set. That controls how your computer resolves domain names, like the one above, into IP addresses. Whichever DNS server your router is currently using is not resolving the AGS domains needed to let you into the game.

so you want to know what router im using then? im not sure i know how to find what dns i have / use

Yup, so your router will have a DNS server setup. The first 3 steps here should take you to where you can see what DNS provider you are using.

im using starlink as my isp and they send you a whole satellite dish and router set and i dont see it listed on there so im not sure

I believe it’s in the app under Advanced Settings? I would try restarting your router from them first, if you can.
