Early months in MMO’s are always messy. And none of that is really predictive of the future of an MMO.
Early ESO for example was a major bugfest, New World is nothing compared to that. It turned around well.
FFXIV 1.0 was a total disaster, but ARR’s launch wasn’t flawless either. A lot of FFXIV: ARR’s endgame was comparable to New World’s now. Endgame PvE was pretty much unplayable due to major lag. This in addition to massive queue times in the first 2 weeks, which was resolved in similar fashion. Add to this the early economic crisis due to high repair costs, people going broke. RMT going rampant in the meantime. And to top it off exploits which went around allowing for spawning of infinite gold, instant leveling up trade skills to level cap.
But, as we all know, FFXIV also turned around and became a highly enjoyable game.
No MMO has really been a smash hit loved by all straight from the get go. Problems have always been there. Hence why I personally usually tell people who are looking for a new MMO, to not pick up upon a freshly launched MMO till like at least 6 months in its lifespan, the period at which most of these sort of early lifespan problems are ironed out.
AGS has the usual work to do. But I consider it likely for them to turn it around as well. And a few years down the line, nobody really cares about those early problems anymore. The economic impact is gone, the benefits of early endgame gear will be negated by newer content, etc. It’s just the MMO lifecycle which catches up there.
No. They were selling fully finished game. Not pre-alpha test.
No one other MMO ever haven’t been realised in such bad technical condition.
Don’t confuse a few bugs with totally broken mechanics and dozens of medium bugs.
In the amason’s bugs gameplay is not detected.
That is the reason why players complainuig or just leaving for other projects.
Because this Game does not have Early Acess Tag and is selled to Fullprice.
So yes ppls expect smooth game play from a finished Game thats normal.
This Game is unfinshed in every way that is possible.
Where ever you look
PVE
PVP
Trade
Craft
I don´t speak from the Bugs because Bugs can you fix but what you not can fix is when you miss the core concept of things.
yes, they sold a finished game.
but mmo, unlike single-player games, never stop developing and fixing bugs. new bugs are created all the time and fixed all the time.

there a Bugs and Bugs -
a clipping bug - i do not care
a bug who is destroy my GPU i do care
a bug in a toolip is missng - i do not care
a bug that the whole stats system does not work correctly -i do care
There is no sub fee, so come back in a few months see if it’s any better
Yes that is a possible solution but my exprience is is a game failed hard at lauch (look at fallout76) its only can get a few ppls back and existes as litte comunity games where a few plls play this.
Look at Warhammer (there is only a comunity free shard left)
Look at Fallout76
Look at SWTOR this was the expensived Fail in the MMO Szene who ever was.160 Millons for a ltte free to play Game…
There are also many Games that not have the luck to live on.
Really? Do you understand that pve grind and craft is not the target. It’s just an instrument to get gear for pvp.
Ok. Let’s go pve: some quests are broken, interface is broken, information in tooltops is a lie, gearscore watermark is broken, some skills (or even whole weapons) doesn’t work…
Need more arguments?
It’s not a small problem that fill be fixed soon.
It’s a month already from the release date and we have more and more problems every day.
are we really going back to that ? the game doesnt damage GPU. the only instance i know of is a sponsored youtube video where they filmed smoke from the gpu.
i havent heared of this bug but from the posts i see, there arent many complaints about it and in its current state its not a game breaker. they will fix it.

Feel free to post any other Game who whave this Problem

it is not a game breaker what else is it ?
It is not a bug it is a feautre? Really?
When you buy a ticket to the cinema - you usually don’t wait a month before they get an egineer who can solve their issues with video and sound. You just eat your corn and watch the movie. That is what we are expecting of released games. And mentioned FF14 never suffered such disaser issues and is such huge ammount even in beta test.
The difference between a bit cosmetical issues and totally smashed.
I really had fun in this game, but the extent of exploits, bugs ans crashed took all the fun from it.
I‘m looking for another game to play the next couple of weeks and will check NW again. But I highly doubt the game will change until then, since many exploits are not easy to fix, the core of the game (the code) appears to be fundamentally rotten… so sad… I havent played many mmos the past 6 years and wanted to dive in once again…
It’s the same as WoW players who actively HATE the game and rage about it constantly but still play for 17 hours a day.
Being on the forums complaining about the game is actually a good thing. it shows those players wanted the game to be better and they are still somewhat invested in it’s development.
When nobody is talking about your game, good or bad, thats when it’s really done for.
