There was probably a reason why it had such a lunge… It was probably discovered during testing it had to have that to hit something since animation is so slow… and then AGS probably forgot about it… Now it cant hit shit unless you stand in the middle and do those spinning attacks…
If bow gets nerfd no one will play it. The balance from aiming, arrow drop, non hit scan and tiny projectile pay off for its burst damage. Also has very long cds. Cant see what they will change to make it relevant in wars.
Sounds exactly like whats hes saying to me. Ga people just crying as they cant run around left click spamming and teleporting to people. I see many good gaxe/hatchet players on my server. They do fine.
Bring back GA lunge but also add back stamina cost for basic attacking w melee or tie it to a secondary resource pool similar to mana for casters.
Now make stamina tied to both Dodging and sprinting and revert the movement combat change made sometime b/w Mar-May of this year.
Pretty sure this would allow melee to hit targets more consistently w homing assist but limit the left click spam by tying it to a specific resource that requires management.
While I agree with the nerfs. I feel like they should have actually fixed the games desync and geodata before nerfing. Now not just great axe, but melee in general is quite terrible.
