– Unfortunately, I’ve learned this the hard way long ago (back in Rappelz).
"Separate your gameplay from your work"
Either by playing on a physically different system, under a different partition {Windows install for games, Windows install for testing / development}, or being super careful {not the best solution} to not run tools of the trade while a game is running.
… Besides, you’re likely under an NDA as a game developer. You’re violating your NDA by running any software which might automatically send builds to a third-party, even if this happens without your consent or knowledge. {e.g, AntiVirus cloud scanning, or any anti-hack}
You can appeal and see what happens, yet I wouldn’t expect much here from my experience.

if hes on a dev team shouldnt he have direct contacts to get him unbanned
remember that most dev aren’t really dev those day they made ugly collage using store asset

Sounds like you were programming your bot script. If that’s not the case then I’m sorry this is happening to you. If it is the case…well…then I hope you boil in a pool of cat excrement while being flailed by mobs of angry Karens karma farming live on insta
It’s same like if you bring a bomb to airport - you can try to say that you are just simultaneously learning to defuse bombs while you wanna flight somewhere, but no one will ever believe it 
Actually it makes a little bit of sense that Easy Anti Cheat might detect IDEs, as you might be trying to actively develop various cheating applications and test them within the game.
Indeed. I remember getting insta-banned by Sony’s early anti-cheat automation frequently whenever it detected an instance of Java Runtime Environment or Java virtual machine on the same pc as the EQ client as it couldn’t tell the difference between that and an actual virtual machine (back in the day when running multiple clients was not allowed).
