Yes I guess the issue is bow on it’s own is ok but 10 bows in one match is a bit over the top. So somehow finding tha balance.
I find it very easy to stay alive on bow in an OPR. If you are 1vX’ing and challenging yourself then yeah you’ll die a lot but that is to be expected. But if you’re hanging with the group on a mage or a bow you should not die very much at all especially compared to melee. At least that is what I have found for me.
Are you controlling your stam properly or are you exhausted dodging an attack? I will punish your exhaustion you are easier to hit.
Instead of rolling sometimes jump side to side.
If you’re really good at stam control then run, to prone then jump to advance and throw a roll in there. If you are exhausted and decide to prone you will not get back up and will be stuck crawling took awhile for me to get adjusted to it
Because us bow players have to take account for arrow drop and speed so we akm ahead hoping you stay to course and eat the arrow. then dont run at us head on or a straight line, zig zag jump, dodge. Heres a funny one… run in one direction then stop the arrow will go right past you or crouch sometimes.
Im a bow player but that is how i catch up to other range players so i can do my 1 shot combo with the spear and bow.
Probably not the best advice but it has worked for me.
People are just playing with the bow right now since it got buffed it’s gonna normalize soon. No need for nerfs.

people are complaining for a reason. it doesn’t take much skill to spam through a door way and “kiting” doesn’t take much skill with light rapier being in the game.
they aren’t winning the game spamming through the door way. They are just annoying. What kind of nerf do you want? Gut the bow completely?
they might win they might not but they are guaranteed to ruin any fun there was. the only difference between winning in losing is 500 pvp exp so it doesn’t really matter anymore. if there were nerfs it would either be to damage or fire rate. I’d take buffs to the other amour types , buff to GA grav got gutted and now its got to many counters with no way to stop them, or a nerf to being able to “kite” but i doubt the community will let that happen.

nerf rapier. way too easy to run away as range in this game and 99% of that blame goes to rapier. its range meta, not bow meta lol. arena > opr anyway and i dont see 2 or 3 bow teams dominating in there lmao
Rapier would need some massive buffs in return then and the moment they nerf rapier everyone will just gravitate to the next best mobility option which would be great axe or sword.

Because bruiser is probably the least unfun (viable) class to play against. They arnt really a threat to either mage build and healers except in packs, and bruisers want nothing more than to fight other bruisers. None of those builds want anything to do with dex players on either team, hell ive heard schitzos complain about to many dex and they are the closest thing we have to a hard counter. A more balanced team may win more often into a dex heavy one, but most of them will not have any fun doing so.
Get rid of free ammo in opr, its the number of dex thats cancer more than their individual strength.
Im honestly fine without the free ammo. Just about anything is cancer when its all the same. Bruisers were all cancer. If it were muskets they would all be cancer. All bows is cancer. All mages would be cancer etc. You can say that about any build. If its all the same its boring af. Which is why wars are boring af.
It doesnt mean anything is OP. It just means more builds need to be fun and viable to play. Its just bow now because its new and its actually fun. MMO players are sheep. They will follow what everyone is doing. If someone youtubed a build tomorrow that wiped out all the bow players then everyone would be that by next week.
Well there is a reason why I’m sure 70 percent of people or even more go range in opr is clearly meta in open world since is a free damage machine, this makes other builds be boring like being a melee since you join opr and you have 15 of your team range, and mostly 10 bows if not more it is clearly not balance, you can’t even make groups of more than 5, they should add the possibility to create big groups of 10-20 then opr will be a really team play kind of game.
Thats how a lot of people felt about GA/WA/IG for 7 months. I agree people should be able to make bigger groups though. Im still not seeing it being 70% on my server. There are some where its like that on one side but not many. There are a lot of builds going on on my server.
Well opr back then I’m sure was more team play than now at least before you had the chance to fight back in a more balance way since ga/wh is a point control type of weapon opr used to feel I think in my opinion less boring and range players use to still do big damage number like always but this change was clearly too much when players don’t even play to win at least before the meta was in a way to win and there force it was more balance.
I’ve played bow all this time. Even when no one else played it. I always play to win, but I get that not everyone does. I even fight on points with my spear in light armor.
Right now playing melee in opr you can’t even go light you literally get 3 arrow death unless you play melee medium or heavy with your healer you not going to have fun and that at the end kills a lot of people experience
Its like was like 5 week ago people do that.
On my server ig like a main weapon now.
Vg & ig , ga & ig , rapier & ig , bb & ig , spear & ig.
And this week people do with sns more annoying now hahaha they bored with mainstream combo so this week maybe will full of hammer now.

Sns with hammer. If enemy have 100 cons without healer 3 cc will kill it . jump > basah > wreacking ball > shockwave > reverse stab.
