IMO leave the servers the way they are AND open fresh start servers. Those who want to keep the character they have now can and those that do not want to play on the old servers for what ever reason can move to a new server.

I’ve played from day one reached 60 n max out all weps and most skills, i stopped playing then came back recently. Deleted my main character and started fresh… nothing changed…eden is under maintenance lol exploits always ruins it
People keep referring to exploits and bugs from the time of launch, when just last week there were exploits, a Market shut down, and some innocent people swept up in a wave of bans.
If Amazon does actually review and revise the territory ownership system and gear progression, this could be a good game with fresh start servers or a wipe.

it’s a good game now.
Leave the servers as they are and create fresh start… MOST of the post against this are players that stopped playing NW and are trying to get people to stop. IMO 0NLY. If you don’t play NW or plan on coming back why are you on the forums trying to talk others into not playing a game they enjoy?

made my day. So, i stopped playing last year and was left with 32k gold only trading my crafted rings and amulets. I am not the issue. Its people like you, lying and or smearing facts into your narrative and people like Timmy, who need for greed at all cost.

Impossible because there could be legal actions, The longer the server was up the likely it is possible, They could have done a back track of 1 day when the dupe was found but the dupe was already going on for 1 or 2 weeks from what I heard and saw.
The dupers aren’t dumb, they would have mixed everything in the market and sacrificed a account on trading players, making Legit and Un-legit players mixed in the trade.
Hence why people shout being ban for no reason.
If they do at some point merge the old and new servers, The game would be already be dead or dying, They would then shower the New servers with rewards and then merge the two, At that point almost no one would care.
And your proof that Impossible because there could be legal actions which to me says THERE is proof of going against the TOS so you have they logs?
I have an idea. Let’s just delete the game. Like it never existed. Sounds great huh?

If Amazons only way to fix the economy ingame would be to wipe all accounts or release fresh start servers, it would only show how little control they have over their ingame economy. Any future flaws, bugs, cheats or balance issues would result in a comparable situation as to now.
Anyone who thinks that fresh start servers will level the playing field underestimate people who enjoy dominating in games as you will see folks who will speedrun the game on each of the new servers, forming competitive companies.
Those players will know the best farming routes, they will dominate pvp and they will have every tool available to make you feel the difference between playing casually vs having time and dedication to play non-stop.
If anything, fresh start servers will show the same “issues” as current servers faster and possibly with even more impact.
This will only be further amplified by big streamers hyping up the fresh start experience and recommending new and returning players to wait and start on the new servers.
What you will likely get is the day-one experience with queues where people with the most time at hand will sit on the server 24/7 for the first 2 weeks, farm bots camping all relevant resources and hype streamers cashing in their viewers ingame resources for faster progress, creating unbalanced companies that will again dominate the market within no time, having the best pvp equipment until they are again bored with the game and the new content, because they fast-forwarded through everything.
What will remain afterwards are again half-empty servers. A community that is split up between old and fresh start servers. And people who will probably not touch New World again because they now tried twice and realized that a fresh start didn’t make a difference.
I know I sound pretty negative but what happens right now with the fresh start servers just recreates the situation we had at launch. Making the same mistake twice will rarely change its outcome.

You realize when fresh starts there will be an absorbent amount of duping and gold buying? What will be your opinion then lol?
And tbh I’d be fine with that because I’d finally have a reason to quit 
I mean i wouldnt be upset but some people would be but then again after 5k hours in rust im used to losing shit

There are different laws in other countries, and when i say legal actions, it could be from a simple refund, So yeah I think that’s a thing lol.
That is always the suggestion of people who don’t play the game for 1 year and want to come back on even footing for people who have been playing it. If they give you what you want you’ll probably just quit again but so will all the people that had all their progress wiped.
I really doubt they would wipe everyone. that would be probably the worst choice they could make.
let’s do it this way,
Give him a fresh start server then when he has reached 60, wipe his character so that he does not leave the game and can start afresh. Problem solved!
