How would you like it if the new world developers developed this idea better and added it to the game? wouldn’t that be good for making pvp better ?

I think they will eventually do a ranked system for PVP that is more meaningful. They need cross server and to expand it to cross region as well (since cross server actually won’t impact some regions at all sadly enough).
Then they will have the volume to do a ranked system. Some servers don’t even have access to OPR and other instanced content right now, some it only happened during prime time. So they would need cross server first.
Then they can just have this added to the leaderboards instead of the loading screen probably. As of right now most everything else can either be stat padded and falsely represent skill OR just represents greater play time.

you should just remove the name of players, and have the weapon they use. That would be something I would get behind. I dont care to see some jackass name up there that is getting power healed while killing noobs.
I personally prefer to keep my launch screen without other player’s information. Some of the player names that I have seen in this game I would really prefer not to be forced to look at them when I log in for some relaxation time.
I have seen some really offensive names in this game, talking about can not type them here without possibly getting banned offensive. Sure they would be reported (hopefully) and required to change before making it high up on the leaderboards but will not roll the dice on it.
Didn’t we have 80,000 active concurrent players just before leaderboards and now we have 10,000??
And which Top10 should be there now?
PvP Kills, OPR Wins, …?
Why not Invasion Wins, Expedition Scores, …
And what exactly is that supposed to change about the quality of PvP when I see that before the character selection?
Where we are on the next topic, from which server if I have multiple characters? Freshstart and legacy?
Leaderbord state is pooppoo i have 27mil dmg, 270k score and about 160+ kills in wars score ;D ;D basicly it was free war we atacking tram was like 20 ppl lol, so i ask def team boss can i kill them with keg… lol…
Deramond is right. There are so many consideration on how to place a value on “most valuable players” what about calculating good leadership and shot calling? Or most materials delivered to the base for fort upgrades? Sure we can go based on kills but are those based on kills because a lot of us can simply focus on enemies that are nearly dead to kill the players? How about support characters that buff other players attacks while in their aoe’s?
There are plenty of ways to contribute to a match that aren’t being recorded and yet are indispensible to achieve victory.
You have to be the best in pvp to appear in the top 10
example : player kills , damage done , won opr and 3v3 arena
All of these are calculated and an average score is created by the system, accordingly your name will appear in the top 10.
or just the number of players you kill these new world developers must decide.
the fact that you people are proud to be on this leaderboards is really sad. these leaderboards are nothing but a bully magnet for people to make fun of sweaty tryhards.
Lol no you don’t, you can easily just cheese score for most leaderboard categories in PvP and the others are literally reward time played not skill. Hard pass. Leaderboards for PvP are dumb and have only made the game worse.
Hopefully they institute a ranked system with leaderboards that would actually carry some value, in their current iteration they are meaningless
