Agree. Leveling in new world is one of the best I had in an mmo in a long time. You can level by doing main quest, crafting, gathering or just even town and faction quests. Very versatile experience.
The time you came back, 5 - 10K players left.
I on my hand still have high hopes for this game… as start is a little bit rocky… things are finnaly moving in right direction.
We will get great march update, we will get roadmap…
It is true, i do not rush things (do not have so much time also)… and atm i am lvling profesions… and really having fun.
So ill stick to it for like few more months and then see… hope it goes on ESO path (rocky start, but really great on the long run)
Great feedback man! I never left, but I have to say the last 2 patches are great. They have listened to the community and are moving this game in a much more favourable direction! Well done @Developer and @Community-Team for enduring the rage ![]()
yes finally we had a new record of negative players peak. the things are moving in the right directions.
oh noes… omg the drama on this forum…
don’t care, finally all is doing in the right way thanks to the great patches

Does that chart include the PTR?
If it doesn’t, then it wouldn’t be accurate.
it includes PTR ![]()
Yeah, that’s really what I loved about it, I didn’t have to worry about learning how the game worked 1-60. Obviously you could min/max. But for me, I just had to log in and do literally anything and I’d feel like I was making progress. Main quest, side quest, town quests, faction quests, crafting, pvp, dungeons. Since the game took care of all this, I felt like I was relieved from the work and free to just live in an open world, explore, and have fun.
Welcome back op
Agree. I think on this aspect they are pretty successful. Even now at lvl 60 I still try to mix it up. Some days I log in to just gather and craft a bit, some days elites chest runs on another day dungeons. I tend to play a lot at the moment though because I am really loving it and tend to do a litte bit of everything lol.
Yes, been pleased with the february patch which really opened up late end game to viable options outside mutations. Feeling more like my 1-60 experience, and excited to see the march patch too.
Welcome back!!
That was nice read, welcome back. ![]()
Welcome Back!! Honest Post!!
My Infinite Progression threads have not really gained any notice, so I cannot say if anyone is even reading my ideas, but if you want fun and repetitive content, read up on my ideas.
Folks that never put in the time to get even one character to level 60, would of course find my thoughts/ideas useless, as my ideas center around being able to take your character to level 60, and then set it up exactly as you want it (with respect to equipped items/weapons, attribute distribution) and then making that version of your current character into a Remnant of their former life, which you could then treat something like a second pair of weapons, but stated for those specific items, that you could then, with the press of a single button/mouse click, make use of your character former version(s).
I envision players being able to restart their character anytime they (once again) reach 60th level, and each time they gain another Remnant.
An infinite progression system would allow a path forward for the developers, as folks could see that they can continue to play, knowing that the system will get around to fixing things in time.
Crafting is a good case in point, a quick and easy fix isn’t likely to result in a good fix, but in an infinite progression system, the developers team could take their time, and work on it, and eventually get a great system in place.
If anyone cares to help me to get these ideas across better, just respond there in those threads.
I too have not entirely left New World, but more and more, my time is just spent on these forums as opposed to playing. My second (and final) US East character slot is now filled with a 44th level character, and that leaves me just 16 more levels of fun and rewarding character development, and then I have no where else to go with this (Potentially Great) game.
Disheartening when Mods reply to stuff like this and not actual issue.
Well glad you came back.
At least you came in time to see there was another super easy dupe around and they didn’t even remove the duped items.
Oh and btw, even if you couldn’t care less about the state of your gold or the server’s economy, the PvP as of now is completely a desync fest topped with a few random skill usage as well.
Dude, get over the dupe already.
They duped food and potions. Not coins or anything remotely game breaking.
If anything you can now buy cheap food and potions. Thats it.
Yes it is annoying but not game breaking. It did not ruin the economy because no new coins got introduced.
