My name is Big Oof on Eden. When crafting any ranged magical weapons, the Thwarting Strikes perk, which gives increased damage while the user is in active grit, can be rolled. All of these weapons, except for fire staff in meteor storm, make no use of Thwarting Strikes.
I believe AGS unintentionally put Thwarting Strikes on these weapons when they meant to put Thwarting Counter, the perk that causes you to do more damage to targets with active grit. Screen Grab Below of Ice gauntlet crafting perks.
Same thing on other magic weapons, I did not check bow or musket because I do not like dex players and do not care if they suffer.
