No argument, check video
Guy with corrupted ward and 3 resil getting shot by muskets but it didn’t stop him from getting 50 kills no? he died a few times yes, but that’s him fighting inside the outpost and diving 5-10 players which ultimately leads to his death. But apparently Melee is not op, and muskets and bows are the problem (while they sit outside the outpost and lose the fight from a distance) it’s hilarious.
The fun part about your endless debates are you guys just downright giving up because you can no longer provide constructive arguments since you have no comeback when you take the skill-issue route (you just lose the argument right then and there)
Whenever you try to argue using numbers and player-related skill = you automatically lose because in the discussion of “weapon balancing” - in order for a certain weapon to be considered “OP” or overpowered, it must be too easy to use to the point that a player without any real skill can just decimate enemies with barely any effort (That’s how something is described as “overpowered” - it doesn’t matter how good you are, you don’t need to be good, you will destroy everyone with X weapon)
But you can’t use that logic with dex weapons, dex (from the name) requires “Precision” and being mechanically precise with landing your projectile ranged attacks or hitscan (skill in tracking targets with your crosshair) is still a form of skill. The game does not play for you, it is not a tab-target game.
Yet somehow, melees have this assist feature called “Tracking” where clicking LMB beside a player lunges your character towards the nearest hostile without having to entirely aim your cursor (just face your character and the game does everything for ya) Even using abilities have tracking, and the rest is up to you in terms of positioning.
