Name change pls, O Lords of New World…
Once a month? Should be a one time thing or have a minimum of one year CD. I can understand choosing an awful name once, but twice?

Smart MMO developers allow name changes for “RP/immersive” reasons but have whatever name change is connected to a permanent handle/family name tied to your account for keeping problematic people identified. I want a name change simply because I thought of a way better one. -__-

Get some friends to report your name as offensive and then they will make you change it.
From what it seems like, you CAN’T do any type of character modification ever. No name change, appearance change etc. First mmo I have seen to not allow any of this yet character modifications is kinda a huge deal in the mmo world.
Which they should do. If the game doesn’t make money, they have no reason to maintain and expand it.
Amazon knows how to make money, and I guarantee this will be something in their sights.

Now that Amazon added the feature for everyone to be level 10 in order to use chat which has helped a great deal against BOTS I think a name change would be a great idea. Let me explain why!
Even though you can not use chat till level 10 that does not mean that the bots can no longer login. These bots use names like “hhvsblds” just random crap letters. Amazon should allow a one time name change to everyone that also picked random lettering for their names, I have seen normal players running around with names like this. Bots however do not run around and communicate. Amazon needs to allow the players one time name change to a name that makes sense then they can go into their database and block all random letter names so we perma get rid of the bots.
The reason is that these bots can still login and what it is doing is causing a Queue making it harder for people who want to play to login, Need to remove these bots all together so that the queue system is not so bad. Yes a ONE time name change and then Amazon getting rid of anyone with a funky name would be a great way to stop the bots from holding up the servers.
Add me into the group wanting the game to add a means to change your character’s name. There was so much chaos at launch that some people probably threw together characters in a rush just to not be caught up in a long queue. I did on one character I kinda want to play now so I would definitely pay for a token that allowed for a name change on that character. They can even limit how many times or how often you can do this on one character but I think putting something like a name change token in the store would be a plus.

I would also like to change my name after ive been a douche and ruined my reputation on a server please. Also if I wanted to scam some ppl a namechange after would be nice.
Too easy to abuse, but I am sure they will add it in the shop later on because it makes alot of money 
MMOs can assign permanent IDs to player accounts. The IDs can show in chat next to your name. The name may change but the ID always stays the same. Also, permanent IDs mean name changes won’t remove a player from a friends list or block list or let that player evade accountability. If I’m not mistaken, ESO has something like this. Since NW isn’t so keen on alts this wouldn’t be such a hassle.
You just have to think outside the box. It’s doable and not so easy to abuse.

I would pay $25 or more for a name change right now. Do you guys think this will be coming soon or should I just reroll a new character?
I made a temporary character on east coast server to play with friends, and I named it something dumb, leveled kinda far, only to find out that my friends cant transfer from east coast server to west coast server…

not sure I like this… if you have a bad reputation or you chose a stupid name… ya gotta live with it!
I got name change for free, just set enough homophobic nick and they will give you free rename (forced).
Yup name change definitely needs to be implemented.
Like someone said in this thread and others. Just assign an account ID next to the name or hover over and it shows. That never changes. But your name can. And that solves the reputation thing.

Name change and also implement a features change on our characters, it sucks we can only pick one type of hairstyle and its done
