It’s been 2 days now and I still haven’t been able to get into a server. I keep getting the “Timed out while waiting for spawn point” on whatever server I try to make a toon on. I have done the reset on both PC and Router like I’ve seen and still no help. I’m honestly thinking about grabbing a refund for this game that I cant even play. I haven’t seen one bit of help at all for this issue.

I am still getting the error “Timed out while waiting for spawn point”
For two days, I’ve been unable to play the game on this character. I am able to play another character on another server in the same region… but that’s not the one I want to progress on. Please provide support to your game. It’s been a week and your players are rightly frustrated.

Getting the error: “Timed out while waiting for the server to spawn the player” after pressing the Play button.
However I don’t have this issue on another character I have on a different server on the same region.
I had the same issue, I could log into west coast servers, but got the spawn error on east coast toon.
I checked the logs in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\Game.log and saw this Error: Reason 38 BannedUntilEpochMS.
My toon name was not anything bad or even that could be a word to reference being banned, but on a whim I deleted and recreated with a different name and was able to log into East coast server with it. I had previous deleted and recreated with the same name and got the same issue, so pretty sure it was tied to the name of the toon.
Would be great to get some feedback from the Dev team if this true. Thankfully my toon was only level 2 at the time.
I think the msg means your name was banned but the game doesn’t give those details back to you and just says it timed out.

I’ve never done anything remotely closer to getting banned as well. As you said it would be great to have some transparency here.
Check your log and see if it has the banned message, I’m sure the more details we can give them, the quicker it can be resolved.
