@Luxendra we need DEVs attention on this. This is a GAMEBREAKING BUG yet no fix until now.
As well as attention to fire ball, fire pillar and ice shower being BROKEN ever since 1.0.4. Mage are litteraly unplayable now
im having same issue my ice storm sometimes doesnt do damage at all, othertimes it will just do 1 tick, ice shower and pillar of fire also only work 25% of the time
Not only does ice storm just not do any damage at all like the video in this thread, but you can dodge once in an ice storm and then you can just sit in it and not take any more damage. Mage is indeed unplayable now. Ice storm no damage, ice shower is not reliably rooting, and incinerate is just not doing damage.

Ice Storm doesn’t work at all after switching from Tier III to Tier IV Gauntlet.
Please fix!
Fix the game! As an ice gauntlet fire staff player, why shouldn’t I just be looking forward to classic wow now? Show me.

fix this ffs. Unending thaw armor perk, and punishing storm weapon mastery perk makes the aoe skills from ice gauntlet not working. Even wearing some specific hats for no reason makes the aoe dmg from ice gauntlet not working. HOW in the world from one patch to another do you mess this up to this level? Are you using your elbows while coding? WTF

I am experiencing exactly what is seen in this video. Seems to be completely random as sometimes i do damage, most times i don’t. I only seem to notice issue since Oct 27 patch, is this the case or was happening before?

The same is happening with me and what is worse is that Ice Storm is my MAIN damage dealer from the gauntlet, which sucks and the devs still havent fixed this yet, after a MONTH!!
Seriously, this game is screwed up… this bomb is still in alpha!

Mage build is completely broken now. FIX IT. This spell does literally 0 damage, and 0 cc effects as it stands. Ice gauntlet is completely unplayable. Amazon- you have an entire class completely unplayable. How is this not a high priority?

Spells already fizzled fairly often but half the time I don’t even do damage now with my IG/FS abilities. I’m still leveling and getting my ass kicked.
Perk or perkless ice Storm either deals 1 tick of damage or it doesnt even do the 1 tick.
Tried that on mobs that are smaller and bigger, tried that in pvp, whatever the case damage equals null.
One thing ive noticed was that if you dont take 3rd perk, Storm doesnt dissapear on weapon swap.
Ice storm is just not working at all for me, no dmg or freeze with heavy hit, nothing, same with pillar of fire
Ice storm is doing absolutely nothing, even after changing perks, different gauntlets, armor, passives… come on AGS… this is getting exhausting, at least acknowledge you know this exists.

I’ve been using staff/gauntlet ever since I bought the game and there have always been bugs with these weapons.
But last update really messed up some skills (especially the gauntlet’s storm).
Ice storm has become useless. If you cast on 2/3/4+ mobs not everyone of them will get damaged and most of the times only a few ticks will hit the others.
Sometimes no ticks at all will hit the mobs (= 0 damage).
The slow isn’t applied neither.
Same stuff happens in pvp.
Fire staff is also very inconsistent. It’s not as bad as gauntlet but sometimes pillar and fireball’s hits just don’t register.
Bottom line is mage is unplayable. These problems must be addressed asap.
Experiencing the same, wanted to add my voice to the pile. I’m about to spend gold to respec because it’s largely unplayable. I can’t believe I’ll have to spend another 500 gold to spec back once they fix it.
Like the video from @Jooni my ice storm tends to do nothing most of the time, rather than ticking a little then stopping.
All AOE spells are somehow broken right now

Wanted to leave my comment to. Mage is no longer playable until they fix this. Not only ice storm. Pilar of fire doesn’t hit all the times and fierball sometimes goes trhough enemies. GG amazon. F for the mage
