Ice Gauntlet Post Update.. What are desirable perks?

I used to play FS/VG but have been experimenting with many builds. After the most recent patches, what do you all think the perks for an IG are BIS?

I’ve been looking for an IG with unending thaw on it for the extra damage and have been rocking Blackguards IG in the mean time. What IG’s are out there that are better or that I don’t know about?

I’m using a famous one from a dungeon but forgot it’s name :sweat_smile: It has unending thaw, vicious and chain ice. The ice storm damage it’s a bit stats padding. Another damage perk or keen won’t be bad and will result in more damage anyway

Plagued strikes cant roll can it? Thought that was the whole reason blackguards got ruined.

Im running keen, keen speed, deadly frost. The extra keen makes your tomb more likely to crit so you can run around like a greased up deaf guy more reliably.

dunno shit about crafting cause im broke anyway but if i could pick 3 perks id choose them. even a 1 perker with deadly frost is fine though

Yeah ive blown too much trying to make an ig with perks that matter.

Keen speed for the greasy deaf guy strategy is solid but other than that, maybe mortal power for some benefit for when you actually kills someone with ig. Which is rare because ig doesnt do damage.

Put healing tomb on your ice gauntlet, if you have divine on your health amulet, you get a 2k heal after every entomb. I think it’s better than just 5 percent more dps on ice storm.

Or iced refresh if you are really good with spike. Since they nerfed it’s effectiveness on armor.

This is craftable as arcana 200. Need elemental ice in your inv to see it and it’s bind on pickup

I made it but haven’t used it yet. I still need a medium body with one of the firestaff perks.

Here’s my unpopular but imo bis support perk IG, especially for wars:
Unending thaw, Mortal power, keen speed/keenly empowered

Combine that with a mortal power firestaff and you’ll have tons of damage most of the time.
