If you charge at some and try to ice shower them then yes they are gonna dodge it just like running and throwing a shockwave however defensively it pretty much creates a wall were you get extra fucked if you step in or have it placed of Top of you. They really needed to stop at the you can’t charge throught it and leave being able to dodge. They can allow the ability to dodge through it, have it stop after you exit the wall, or make the slow not a hard.
Why can’t you just run around it, it not much different than forcing people to run around a Gravity Well field which is much larger and can be thrown at a range?
They run around it. Grav well doesn’t last as long and due to its offensive nature not many people running around a g well

Yes lets delete any weapon besides all melee weapons so we can run around and do happy left clicking

I guess even then some players will come and complain that other melee players can left click faster and it needs to be nerfed.
Face the reality and learn how to outplay and position yourself and dont expect to counter just any other weapon by using only your two main weapons.
lol don’t play melee, numpty. Castable AOE CC instadeath may make you feel better, but it’s cheap.
I do wonder a lot about that insta dead coming from an ice shower. I would love to see a video in a real one vs one where someone dies insta from an ice shower.
I could maybe imagine that if someone is completely naked without gear and about 6k hp but even then i wonder.

Looking at the way you write your posts i clearly see that you are mad about being countered by something you seem to get outplayed a lot.
That might be your own issue but the weapon is totally fine and doesnt need nerf.
Though i see a lot of people asking for nerfs just because they cant adapt to something or dont want to learn how to handle it.

You’re just bad then i guess, i catch people all the time and watch my teammates wreck the ball i caught as i roll away. It’s stupid easy right now to secure kills as ig / ga.
No, it’s easy to catch people in it. You just don’t want your advantage to get nerfed therefore downplaying the power of your tool kit.

IG is one of the weapons I main at the moment. I would say there’s probably one concession that needs to be made.
Currently, if you get caught in ice shower, then rooted by the heavy, it will seem like you’re rooted for 6 to 7s.
What should happen in practice is that the immobilize can only last 3s unless reapplied by another ice shower. How it currently works is that the immobilize will keep reapplying itself till you leave the ice shower.
Said differently, if you’re immobilized by ice shower, walk to the right 1m but are still in it, then get rooted for 1s, you still have the full 3s duration of immobilize you have to deal with once the root subsides. What’s more balanced is that the immobilize just respects the original 3s once afflicted by it.
