Ice Spike feels more RNG than Skill

This ability needs to be looked at again, it’s overshadowed completely by ice storm, shower, and entomb solely because the hit box on the ability is extremely inconsistent and many feel it isn’t a rewarding ability to use. Even with immaculate aim and timing, there are times where you simply can’t multihit with it.

I’ve spent months post-nerf trying to find any shred of consistency with this ability and I legitimately can’t. Sometimes you will one-shot someone, sometimes you will hit once for very low damage, it’s at the point where I seriously think that differences in elevation or evenness of the ground that your opponent is standing on is the deciding factor in how many hits will land.

It feels awful to just have abilities just miss without any known reason; whatever ‘sweet spot’ this ability had in the past is now gone. I understand that the ability was problematic in the past, but that was due to it’s raw damage and not so much the actual hitbox.

I’d suggest reverting the hitbox to it’s former glory and reducing damage overall so there isn’t one-shot cheese builds going around anymore (except for blunderbuss I guess).

Consistency is the key to having skilled gameplay, there isn’t any room for abilities that function like this.

Reduce the cooldown and the damage by 50% and make it double hit consistently.
