When casting Ice Storm, sometimes the ability gets casted under your feet, and not at the target location.

It’s a bug.

Sometimes Ice Storm doesn’t get casted at the location, thus making it useless.

No, sometimes it happens, sometimes not. There is no recovery.

I have no reliable steps to reproduce the issue, other than to just keep casting Ice Storm, until one time the bug appears.
I have three suspicions:

Maybe it has something to do with hills, or rather uneven ground.

Maybe the bug appears more often in the Barnacles and Gunpowder expedition, but that may just be my perception, because I exclusively use the Ice Gauntlet there.
I notice this bug especially in the bossfights in that expedition. -
Maybe the bug appears more often when I quickly try to cast Ice Storm, like instantly selecting and casting it (clicking), instead of first aiming it for a second and then casting.

It happens all the time, but in the video I posted, this bug happened on 27th of September around 12:55 - 13:00 in the Central European time zone. So about 15 minutes before posting this thread.
