[Idea for AGS] idea how to solve the problem with gold

[Idea for AGS]

I have an idea how to solve the problem with gold. You just need to come to terms with inflation. Give out gold in general to everyone in the same quantities. But raise all the server prices. 7-10 times (for each server individually). As a result, nothing will fundamentally change, just a zero in the numbers will be added. I am not an economist, I could be wrong, but it seems it is called devaluation.

You’re entirely wrong, why would we want all people running around with gold.

The solution is that they lower the gold cap to 300.000 gold and let everyone (who was lucky) have a fair share at the pie.

This will create a friendly environment and will make rich people donate to poor unlucky people.

the best idea is not gold is like something for your home like on item and that’s it! give to the player some skins or some loot drop like one set for gathering and that’s all

But then some of the players will get an unfair advantage. After all, no one will share. And prices will skyrocket. As a result, players who have not received a reward will be left with nothing. And there will be no place to earn gold in such quantities. But if you raise the reward everywhere, then the home team will be able to earn.

In addition, the raised prices compensate for the artificial inflow.

This is literally the best solution, an inflation would only hurt dupers and people who used exploits to become wealthy.

Just put in a new currency. Done.

Yes and then we can rename the in game currency to Yen.

One iron ingot will now cost 4 Billion Yen.

Hmm. This has legs.

Who would this hurt in any way except for dupers and people who got wealthy due to exploits?

Tell you what AGS… If you just boost all of my trade/craft/gathering skills to 200 I promise I won’t complain if you just UP the servers as is.

I completely agree. The economy is in such deflationary free fall for a multitude of reasons. Giving people some gold at the moment would probably not have any inflationary impact whatsoever, assuming they don’t change any of their ideas about how to run an in game economy.

Having factions controlling server’s economy is enough evidence that most people do not have interest of others in mind.
