So before explaining my idea, let’s just get this out of the way first. English is not my first language, so there going to be spelling mistake and grammar mistakes.
So, this idea is for something they can add later down the line, not something I see them doing at launch.
I would really like to see them add a Company Manor, or what ever they would call it, so let’s get into the idea.
Location: I am thinking they could add one in each location with a settlement, but have it so it’s outside the settlement, think like war camps, are near to the forts.
Price: Since this is meant to be something you work with your other company’s members to get, the price has to be rather high, something on the line of 50K, and also follow the property tax of the territory, so if property tax is 10%, they have to pay an upkeep of 5k each week, this give the company that control the territory, a extra income to run the territory, but if the territory is hold by a company of the same faction, a 50% discount is giving to the property tax, (so instead of 5k each week, it would be 2,5k) this give other companies, a reason to help defending or attacking territories.
Function: So here I think it work in the way housing work, that more than one company can own the same place, and that members work together to craft furniture, to give the place a nice look. But there also needs to be something special for the Company Manor.
- Buff’s, special items, that give members of the Company buffs in the territory where the Manor is.
- The vault: a special room, that can be upgraded, the higher the tier, the more coin’s the company can hold.
- Storage room: a special room, that can be upgraded, the higher the tier, the more items the company can hold, yes this means that by owning a Company Manor, u can store items there, but this does not link up to the crafting station in the settlement. Basic it’s an easy way for gathers to store items, that then can be used by the crafters of the Company.
Crafting: So, I don’t see crafting be a thing in this location, because that would just end up killing the feeling in settlements. Well then again, maybe allow them to craft stuff that can be crafted at the camp.
Edit: ofc have other stuff that can be upgrade, and other company group content build around this, I would love to hear if you guys have other ideas to add to this as well.
Edit 2: Here are a list of stuff, other have suggested, (this topic, other topics and from friends and so on) does ideas, are stuff I personly like to see in the game.
From a friend: Some type of garden, where you can plant and harvest resources like Wheat, corn and so on.
From a friend: A thophy room, where you can get thophy from the end boss in dungeons. Maybe that thophy even give the members a small buff when in that dungeon.
