Hi, we are missing tournaments in game.
5 vs 5, with ranked and 5 vs 5 unranked, (ranked)avaialable only for players avg GS 560 +, with blockade for weapont diversity, (only 1 LS, max 2 GA/WH, etc). Each seson should last 1 month, and rewards should be meaningfull.
What are community ideas about this?
There is no point to do ranked pvp with basic commbat mechanic and many weapons broken.
Rather have a 3v3 than 5v5. If 5 man you’d def see 2 healers per group and take forever.
Lol combat isnt broken my group pvps all day the only complaint is very slight balance issues and i mean slight.
1v1 and 3v3 ranked arena would be very nice.

This sounds great. I would love to see any more small scale combat. I love duels and group duels and I think that the smaller and more controlled engagements are far more fun than larger scale stuff which isn’t well organized.
Impossible to implement in this game. There are no classes or set roles. If they tried to limit the number of life staff users lets say I just keep my LS in my inventory and que up with hatchet and spear but all my points are into focus. Soon as I zone into arena I’ll just equip my LS.
I enjoy the small scale pvp more also. Just go patrol POIs in Shattered for a while. Youll find plenty of fights.
it is not a problem to disable changing weapons/respec in game.

Ranked small scale pvp would be perfect for New World. Most important competitive/ranked mode to me would be 2v2 Arena. However I would like to see 1v1 and 3v3 as well, but if I have to choose 2v2 is definitely on the top of my list.

They code it so it’s impossible for you to swap weapon once in the arena? Pretty common sense easy fix, no?
I do not think there should be any limitations or restrictions what so ever. A competitive small scale PvP mode would give them some means and data to balance the weapons after.
