So this is basically 2 previous post, plus a new post combined. Yes, I put way to much time and effort into this, I know. No, I probably wouldn’t read it all either but if anyone that actually works for AGS does click this, please do read it. It may be a lot to go thru but, eh. I think at least some of it has very strong points.
Add New OPR Maps
This one is pretty self explanatory so I’ll keep this short and simple. This is quite easy actually. Just take one of the mines or castles that’s already repeated across the map, Copy It. Create a new world instance. Paste. Rotate 180. Paste. fix seam and boarder issues. Redecorate a lil bit. PROFIT.
Also, add Cross Server OPR & 3v3s sooner please. I believe moving this timeline forward would increase create player retention & engagement as it would generate more diverse OPR & 3v3 lobbies. Specifically 3v3s because on Lilith if you queue as a whole 3 man it takes FOREVER to get a match.
Add Minigames

In Restless Shores add a method to get on and off of the Ship docked in the Settlement. In the interior of the ship add 10 - 20 tables with 5 chairs at each table. At these tebles players can initiate a handful of playing card games ranging from Rummy, Blackjack, Spades, A Modified version Texas Hold Em Poker called "Aternum Hold Em,"and/or other games.

In Brimstone Sands Settlement there’s a large empty area. Here, add a Dice Gambling minigame where players bet on dice rolls. Seeing as how players already do this why not take it anhd run with it?(See Screenshots for area mentioned)

Now, another option but more labor and cost intensive would be to completely gut First Light’s no longer used Noob Beach & build some kind of Casino/Outpost with a few missions, backstory, & plot and do it there. Regardless, since people already gamble like crazy with /dice why not expand on the functionality, lean into it, & turn it into something that generates revenue?

Now, obviously this will require custom animations, lots of coding and play testing. This cost money. A basic fact is that if it cannot generate profit, create player retention, and engagement… It’s not happening. AGS is in the business to make a profit. Not games. So there must be some kind of gimmick or gag to go along with it and IMO that would be skins. Add skins to the store for dice and playing cards. Introduce 2 or 3 new limited time skins each year and add territory Playing Card Skins which are gotten if your company controls a territory for free.
Overhaul Storage
While storage was already changed before to remove fees and faction restrictions on accessing different settlements and satisfied all the players. It and updates after created a new issue with storing items. Players have more items than ever before littering their storage sheds. Because of this, a massive overhaul of the storage shed system as follows would do wonders.

Add a Company Storage
Another thing I believe is drastically needed is a Company Storage. There’s already a Company Treasury. Why not have Storage? This would allow for more seasoned and/or higher level players to toss items they don’t wanna sell because they’re worth 0.01G or nothing but are still useful to new players. Having a spot where these items could be stored and access with some restrictions could potentially help retain some of the players who join then stop playing because they are so far behind in levels.

Start a thread and sticky it to find all floating, stuck in rock, Former Skysong Temple messed up structure placement, mote, note, and “immersion breaking” errors.
Allocate the task of going through said forum post once a week and keep track of every new thing mentioned so he/she/they can quickly and efficiently fix these things so when a “Fix It” update or a planned update is released there will always be some form of Quality Assurance & would just be outstanding PR.

I know I said I wasn’t going to get into it but it’s bad. REAL bad. As stated in the post mentioned above I developed an Algorithm that is super efficient and effective at finding bots with an insanely high accuracy. After making that post within 24 hours all the bots I mentioned in the original report to AGS were banned. However since then most of the accounts have been unbanned and to compound matters within 48 hours of the bots being banned from Lilith there was even more bots. I offered my Algorithm and info on how I made it to AGS. I was told and I quote verbatim,
"While we appreciate the concern however we have a dedicated team of qualified and certified professionals with years of experience in MMoRPGs. We would kindly ask that searching for and exposing bots in New World is left to the professionals. We thank you for your understanding.

Clearly… The “Certified” and “Professional” team Amazon has is ran by a monkey with a wrench for them to send me this reply because they can’t even effectively and efficiently find bots. Not only that, they still include the cookie cutter " Thank you again for helping us keep the community clean! immediately after telling me not to bother looking for and reposting bots. On top of that, I didn’t purposely leave out the name of the employee that emailed me. They never signed it. Matter of fact, why copy/paste the text. Even better, have a screenshot of their e-mail to me.
Now, here we are. January 1st, 2023. Bots have completely destroyed the economy & ability to farm freely on Lilith and multiple other servers. Farming is near impossible because there are so many bots that when you go to a high level area where bots cannot go it’s infested by players just waiting while playing a 2nd game on another monitor or waiting for a 3v3/OPR queue to pop between respawn times because it’s the only place where actual players has a chance to get resources. Why lie like that. Instead be honest, so many of the games actives are bots and a decent handful of the other actives are gold buyers.
Then on legacies no one wants to farm. So even more people buy gold. I 100% know and am aware that you cannot completely remove bots nor gold buyers nor hackers nor cheaters. HOWEVER… This game is way to small for the number of bots it has. You can follow the bots and tell they are running on a macro. Even removing coordinates from the FPS menu didn’t change anything. It was a meaningless effort to try and get actual players to stop complaining before the holidays so less people tried to get a refund when they realize just how hard it is to start on this game unless you start day 1 of a fresh start.
You wanna do Modifiers? HA! Your GS ain’t high enough. Better buy gold so you can buy better items and infused scraps for gypsums to raise your GS as fast as possible.
You wanna do Normals/M1-M8s so you can unlock them and get better gear and Umbral Shards so you can do to get your gear leveled up to do M9/M10s? HA! Not happening. Better go buy gold so you can stock up on all the dailies, timeless shards, and craft mods so you can maybe get lucky and get something usable. It’ll cost ya a few hundred K tho per item.
You wanna do M1 - M10 so you don’t have to have someone unlock the dungeon for you? HA! They ain’t wasting their Modifiers on anything else but M9s or M10s. Better go buy gold so you can pay people to waste some of their 25 runs per week on you.
No one can deny this fact. This is why all the dungeons you MUST DO FOR THE MAIN STORY have a solo option. Because ain’t no one wasting their time nor effort on them low level nonsense and people were unable to progress through the game so what did they do? They either bought gold to pay someone to help them. Or they quit the game.
Can’t farm freaking bots are vicious regardless of level zone they’re in because bots are left alone so long they actually manage to hit level 60 on Lilith. Even bots I reported last time that got banned have since been unbanned and are back at farming 24/6/365 non stop. Bots are 24/7/365 messing with the trading post artificially deflating the price of stuff and then artificially inflating prices to extreme highs to get gold for RWT.
FROM G2G ALONE THERE IS 44 GOLD SELLERS ON LILITH.
If you change that to JUST US EAST alone that goes to 895 Gold Offers from 313 unique sellers. Remember, THIS DOESN’T INCLUDE ANY OTHER REGION EXCEPT FOR US EAST

THIS WOULD MEAN THAT MORE THAN SEVEN AND A HALF PERCENT(7.59%) OF ALL ACTIVE PLAYERS ON US EAST ARE FARM/RWT/GOLD SELLER BOTS JUST ON G2G. DON’T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, HERE’S THE DANG MATH.
Now if you look at my past post I had videos of at least 12 bots that I posted publicly. There were more than 40 on Lilith alone that I had reported in private to AGS with undeniable proof of being a bot as well as multiple players(17 Players who are 10,000,000% real players) who traded in the back of the WW Church with an account that I had gotten undeniable video proof of them 100% being a bot.
Something has to give. Something needs to change. I love New World. It’s genuinely fun when I do literally anything else except farm and/or try to Buy/Trade/Sell. Y’Know about 40% of the game. Even when I get my cheeks clapped because I’m kind of a pepega PVPer it’s fun for the most part.
Seriously AGS… Hire me part time. I’ll put in like 20 hours a week. One or 2 servers each week + Lilith, and I will find most of the bot like accounts on each server. Give me an e-mail I can send the findings too. And someone with backend access can go through my findings and if it’s a bot, PERM BAN. I’ll gladly do this for minimum wage.
Hell, I’d even be willing to do this for like 2 months in exchange for all the current skins on the store for free. I ain’t picky. I like the game. But at this pace it’s just going to die again quickly like before. ![]()
Add Variety To Mobs Using Existing Assets
Skeletons. Corrupted. You see 10 of each and you’ve seen about all there is to see. Transmog is coming. Take that time and also add some RN’Geesus to the mobs. use existing assets to give skellys random pieces of broken armor and ragged clothes in various states of ruin. Sure, this will require some effort but I can almost promise you most players would appreciate not seeing the same looking mobs. At minimal, copy the existing mob models and change some of the colors, save as a new file, and add a reference so they also have a chance to spawn.

New Weapons
Now, it’s already announced that a new Focus weapon is being added. However this alone is in my opinion not enough. At the moment there is 5 or 6 META builds which everyone uses. That or they use a bow/musket(I’m 100% Guilty Too. Can’t Beat Em, Join Em).

In my head a spear & shield would be a highly variable roll where gear options depends on how the weapon is played.

Yes. This is 100% yet another freaking Sparta reference. But this one is pretty solid IMO and actually makes sense.

Weapon Idea: Sword & Magic/Spell Sword Class
A Spell Sword would be unable to equip a secondary weapon. Instead they’d be able to manipulate an element of the players choice for a secondary attack without the need to have a staff. Make a katana or a xiphos for the class, give the Skill tree a handful of “attunement” skills to attune your magical attacks to Arcana/lightning/Nature/Void/Ice/Fire.
Weapon Idea: Daggers/Rogue Class
Mobs also have daggers. I assume this eventually will be made available to players.
Dungeons
Overhauled once already, AGS changed it so you can only do 25 Mutations per week. This has led to players who just got the game and/or players who are coming back to the game still have the same issue. It’s impossible almost to find a group to do M1 - M8s because most folks are already doing M9 or M10s and those that aren’t have 1 of 3 choices…
A. Don’t do Mutators since you can’t and no one wants to do low level ones.
B. Pay people gold so other players will “waste and lower myself” as was said to me and use some of their 25 Mutation runs per week to help me run from M1 - M10.
or C. Try to farm and/or buy gold with real word money just to buy dungeon gear being sold by bots so they get that gold back at insanely high prices.
My proposed solution to this is to further limit and at the same time, increase the number of mutations per week as follows

Now, a lot of players would be mad at this rightfully so. Why are they being punished because new players are joining the game? Why should they be forced to help low level players?
Well, they shouldn’t. So we need to do something else to try and make this change swallowable for them.
The following is my solution for this and for this solution I will assume that Laz and Tempest are the current mutators for ease of explanation.

After Dungeons reset and change to something else I would be able to go to a faction representative to receive a “Mutator’s Cache” Inside of these caches is an item called “Unstable Tuning Orb” for every 3 successful runs I did.

In this example let’s assume I ran 15 Laz and 15 Tempest and successfully completed all of them. I would receive 10 Unstable Tuning Orbs

No more than 10 Unstable Tuning orbs can be used per week by player win or lose.

Using an unstable Tuning Orb makes all enemies in the dungeon gain 10% more health and deal 5% more damage.

For every unstable tuning orb used you lose a run from the next highest tier you can still run that week. So let’s say I use 10 Unstable Tuning orbs to run 10 M10s back to back right after the Mutations change. Then that week, the only thing I would be eligible to run would be 5 M1s, 5 M2, 4 M3, 4 M4, & 2 M5s for a total of 30 Runs that week.

Make it so players can not have more than 20 Unstable Tuning Orbs across their Inventory and/or Storage Sheds.

Make it so you MUST USE YOUR 10 UNSTABLE TUNING ORBS BEFORE DOING NORMAL MODIFIER. This would prevent people from doing M10 - M5 and then using their Unstable Tuning Orbs. Give a warning when joining a normal dungeon that says "Hey! You haven’t used all of your 10 Unstable Runs this week. By going into this normal modifier M10

The only way to get your Unstable Tuning Orbs would be to do all 30 Dungeons Win Or Lose. Only did 29 Dungeons this week? You get 0 Unstable Tuning Orbs. This makes it so players have to be strategic about when to use and when not to use the Unstable Tuning Orbs.

Players who did Unstable Modifiers together are unable to do Normal Modifiers together forcing them to do the M1 - M5s they still have left with randoms thus giving folks who still need to work their way up thru modifiers a chance to have a player who really knows their stuff.

Add Region Specific Cross Server Dungeons.
These changes, IMO would really make things work like a hot knife through butter. People can still run potentially 10 Modifiers per week @ M10 with their usual suspects. This would allow those who are working their way up through the modifiers to have a chance to actually get a group together. Furthermore, this would help players who are still leveling up find other players in the same situation. Then adding cross server Dungeons as an extra layer, would remove most, if not all, the negatives that would come with this change.
I’ll update this as I think of stuff and/or AGS does something or should I say, until AGS fails to do something that IMO needs addressing.
