If AGS cares to develop a good game they need to have a cohesive plan and stick to it. Catering to the masses will turn this into WoW in no time.
Having polls to check how the general feeling is isn’t a bad idea per se but don’t expect the game to change according to those.
Yeah actual active players need to be polled if they want to go that route, not the forums.
I agree that it’s good to gain a sense of how the community (who is actually playing the game) is enjoying or not enjoying certain aspects but i don’t necessarily think its that important to take their feedback on how to change/update the game.
Being a gamer, enjoying video games and being good at video games does not mean you know game theory and how to develope enjoyable gaming content. There might be things that people think would make the game significantly better but in reality would actually destroy the game or make it less enjoyable.
We should leave the decision making to the professionals. With that being said, a pulse check on certain aspects could help the devs determine where they take the game in the future. But the game is also still so new that I don’t think this in necessary just yet either. Maybe in the future.
Yeah I wasn’t talking about a poll that asks people how they should develop the game. Rather a poll that asks people what they like and don’t like about the game.
We do, we run regular surveys in-game. This way we can reach the broadest sample of folks. Be sure to complete your surveys if you receive one!

You see that EU server (Hellheim) has a massive queue constantly for few days, there is anything you and your team gonna do about it? maybe a slight increase in the player capacity? or maybe… try to see if it is possible to tell us ETA for next server transfer?

How come no updates on transfers for 3 days? Were the issues identified? Were they fixed? Coming this week? I have no problem waiting for it to be perfect, just want to be kept in the loop. Have lots of company members waiting to transfer and what not.
News to me. Over 300 hours have yet to see an in game poll.

Agreed, it would take hours, days, shit who knows how long to even read through all of the posts on here. Even then, how do they pick and choose which to work on first? I think you’re right POLL TIME!!!
Same thing I’ve been dealing with since Thursday to mugsy in eden but I’ve given up on your customer service. It will take a server reset to fix it.

I’ve got 285 hours in new world and I have never seen an in-game poll lol. Was that just a straight up lie?
The polls are on exit, but can be disabled. Saw them in the Beta but havent done one since launch either, doesnt mean they dont exist though. 
How are you sure AGS do not filter the topics in the forum? I come here and do a quick look every day, mainly on Feedback Forum, and easily get a summary of overall discontent and legit complaints. I’m pretty sure they have this capacity also.
