What I offered was analytical evidence. Consider that most servers have over 50% use of one particular weapon. That SHOULD tell you something is wrong with how useful that weapon is…
I’m talking about the Stun in grav, which will prevent Burnout or anyone getting out of the Grav well. Grav well is basically a death sentence now. They took away Ice Showers strongest feature, made it almost impossible to hit and gave it to GA. Plus Grit on whirlwind which will mean much higher dmg Axe users. Like they needed more dmg…
it is a root not a stun, you can still block, stun, avoid getting caught in the well. im more glad that they fixed all the other bugs making it over perform
It’s still inconceivable they nerf mages before GA. There’s literally 100-150% MORE great Axe users then Fire. They’re not playing GA because it’s weak.
Every War is 25-30 Great Axe + Hammers. Mages were good for a week while people continued to ignore them, but now they just put 5 guys on the mages and the mages all die.
Reading the notes it looks more like they are taking some of the damage from IG/FS and healing from LS then giving it back for light armor and to some degree medium. I assume the changes are to discourage everyone wearing heavy.
actually what you offered was anecdotal evidence, since i see zero data or breakdowns of any stats. i dunno what youve been watching, or where you learned it, but you should ask for a refund.
my last war i saw tons of mages. i guess mages are op.
so as a tank ( sword and board, spear) the anwser on the outside looking in is easy. take all the stuff that muilt stat for non magic stuff and poof you have your anwser. you need more points to hit the same thrushold that you need for single stat stuff like GA and Hammer and magic user can just toss in a gem to get damage on them. so limited choices make limited picks
because it still better the getting 60 percent on a spilt stat give you and with dinishing returns that 60 percent a lot closer to strength users then you think
im not saying ax need a buff im just saying the reason that many player use the ax or hammer is it they only single stat melee choice, annnnnd magic users can use it to with gems, and not the other way around
You know why there’s more ga/wh users then anything else same reason that every MMO is 90% DPS 5% tank5% healer. It’s because it’s a playstyle more people prefer to play. I personally can’t stand playing ranged in any game it doesn’t matter how weak or strong ga/wh/gs are I’m going to play it. I would play rapier but Its dex/int and i don’t like the play style of spear and again don’t enjoy bow/gun/mage
jump stuns, entombed bugs a lot, a lot of times ice storm didnt do ANY dmg, ANY debuff applied, ANY cc you can apply to the great axe is just right clicking on you, dashing like light armor with autoattacks. Yeah, seems pretty balanced.
