i think that they cant. Let’s be realistic, how many things have they done w/o 20 more bugs or exploits?
AGS should invest some of Bold Guys money, instead of sending him into the space. Maybe hire someone with expierience, not just guy who will take less money for this contract.

This was a fix. Anyone saying otherwise is a liar. People have been complaining about dupes. Now they equalized the playing field.

What excactly will rollback mean? Startinf from beginning again?
It means they chose a saved game status and delete everything since said game status. For example the could have a copy of the game state as it was when they did the maintenance this morning and roll back to it.

I don’t think they are ready to rollback.
If they manage to rollback it’s NOT gonna be how they expected it to be rollbacked, that im convinced of.
The amount SQL issues they’re sitting on now, controlling what has happened, what has been triggered, what was the state before.
Must be a nightmare for them now, but don’t care honestly anymore. Apparently they don’t either. Imagine fucking up the only game mechanic that is fatal, GOLD, cause the game is based around the market. Imagine, just imagine.
I would leave if they did a rollback. I am soooo glad AGS doesnt follow player suggestions rollbacks would be dumb. I’ve heard more about these problems than actually experienced any. If gold duping is such a problem why is there a currency shortage?
They literally gave 50-300k gold to half the population of eu servers. Who is talking about duping here?
so its better that the tb’s are dead and half the people have capped gold??
Is it only the EU servers that were affected by all of the free gold? Or did it also happen to other regions?

In ESO after guild could bid for multiple guild traders, guilds received massive over refunds of bids not won several times No rollbacks but of course guild leads who spent the dough ruined their guild when accidentally duped funds were removed.
If in this case it was either ordinary players who had paid house tax since 1.1 update or random members of guilds which were to reimbursed instead, I don’t think its possible to fix it without rollback. You can expect a guild leader to know better but not a random player.
Will be rollback but if AGS wont do a full rollback before patch its useless. All servers are destroyed. Someone in my server bought all void ores, and legendary mats for 600gs and was listed for 50k or 30k per mat, and I’m sure there is plp in other servers that did the same
it means go back to a point in this case when players got 300k and rollback to before that happened which means anything we did in the time from maint was over till they pulled servers offline would be erased
Only thing is, can they do the rollback? I hope so, but I would not bet on it either way.
I imagine that they are trying to figurenout how to fix this without a roll back. The roll back should be the absolute last ditch effort to save this.
