Lol no, people who follow meta are just lemming train, who play only OP weapons. After nerf of weapon they play, they just switch to another OP weapon. Real bow mains will still play bow. Also many players will return, when they will be able to again play some OPRs, without OP bows/muskets.

LOL. I’ve never played against him personally but he farms at least one of the best bow players I know.
That is not true. You can run 150 con with the bow and 3 shot light melee. Light melee is not going to be able to 2 shot you with 150 con. Medium melee is not going to be able to catch you.
That is the problem with the bow balance right now. You can melt melee before they close the gap, you can easily create more distance, and once you get caught you have enough health to survive until you can haste away.

it’s blatantly false comments like this that are the reason the forums are regarded as a complete meme. the worst part is the devs read these kinds of comments and we end up with the current shitshow that pvp is in right now. there are dozens of people like you that run around with complete dogshit pvp gear and come in these forums and attempt to discuss balance
pvp balance feedback should be taken from actual pvpers with some sort of ELO requirement. there is no way you’re getting 2-3 tapped by a bow as a medium armor bruiser while they have 0 mortal empowerment stacks, assuming you have at least 4 resilient which is mandatory for pvp

50 con light melee can’t even two shot a 100 con bow that has barely any slash resistance. Whereas a bow can two shot a light melee who has 35% thrust resistance. Make it make sense.

Dude you hit had like 1 hp left. How do you know he had 100con? Either way he could have had shirking fort procs or other buffs.
You were in Onslaught stance with 50 con in enemy backline. Amazed you didn’t get 1 shot. Can’t see the buffs on the dude hitting you but bet he had ME stacks.
You also hit at least 1 other player. You have much better AOE than bow.

I mean u run paper so he does good dmg. I do duel light armor 200 con mage with top eu bows and they dont hit that card when u have 200 con 
But i agree that bow dmg might be little to good. If - then not much imho. 5-10% max.
That’s not what you can hear on forums but when you hear talks in guilds a lot of people at least tried bow and said that aiming is the hardest thing or gameplay was the hardest thing for them so they came back to melee - not only because of that but also because melee builds are the only builds usable and very good in all scenarios - OPR, Wars, PvE. Lower effort, bigger reward.
