Provide incentives to transfer rather than hoping that people would transfer off of well established servers.

This is kind of controlling, and a little disrespectful.
Crazy how they force us into merger after merger, and then want to squeeze everyone for $15 to escape the queues that AGS themselves created.
Here’s a thought… give everyone free transfer tokens as new servers are added. Then, as an even better way to generate revenue, add some skins to the store that actually look good and not like clown costumes.

They never forced us. Vocal majority begged for merge after a merge.
They literally locked every server because people were not going over. Thats forcing.

Surely no one saw this coming. 
Do you know what would be funny and what has happened before? Everyone is actually paying $15 dollars to transfer to Eden since it’s the only server that’s not locked and creating the same problem they’re trying to solve.

That’s a problem with the game performance, not server management.
Free transfers from an overpopulated world to an underpopulated is how you move people without everyone being butthurt. I would say being able to transfer without having to go through the queue to your current world would be a smart thing but I’m pretty sure there’s too many things that would prevent a transfer for most people without them having to log in first.
I’m not paying to transfer again. I’ll play ptr until the login times come down on the E. COS server. Please give us better options.

The only thing surprising here is that people are still surprised by AGS’s shenanigans.
For everyone else this is some crazy oversight but it’s really just par for the course with AGS.

Thé situation is horrible. You,made the barest decision ever. I can’t play now with all the ongoing queue. 1280 every night!!!
They arent gonna say anything about it but the servers are unlocked now.
As of right now Eden is already over 1k. Seems like it is working to me as that is over 1k less causing a queue for the other servers.

So you mean to tell me that all the bitching the community did about merges ended up biting them in the ass?
And yet people are still asking for transfer tokens, like it’s going to fix this gushing wound.
How about we actually change how switching server work? How about we make it like Black desert online, or runescape?
To be fair, some of the complaining was warranted. Some folks were stuck on servers that only had a couple hundred players. AGS just went overboard with the merges…imagine that. Plus, right before a major patch and event…
Most games it is free to transfer from overpopulated to underpopulated server. So i am not sure what AGS was thinking with the transfer tolkens.
