PvP - heavy strength, light dex, light int
All the crafting and gathering sets
PVE - A general dex and a general str set
I’m just starting to collect pieces for Mutations also, so wards etc
I’d like to know how many sets others are collecting and how they manage it, thanks.
PvP MEDIUM, Light for every class. Medium armor dps, light for healer and assasin gear with SnS and hatchet. PvE Medium imo the best balance between damage and sustain.
1156 hrs
mastered all skills.
I have partial to full sets of every bonus yield/quality crafting set.
I have one of each luck harvesting sets.
I have 3 attribute luck sets for world tours.
I have mastered all but 3 weapons and have no dungeon sets.
The fact I have 20 sets in 3 banks isn’t the biggest problem. I go back to launch and almost every month since. Super companies farming town tax, Dups of Gold, and gear have inflated trading post prices to the value of RMT bought gold/duped on demand. They aren’t based on real world abilities to earn as a player not being boosted, cheating or RMT. Again the players that got there first were a result of these corruptions and left everyone else in a wake.
If someone put item for 300k it does not mean somebody would buy it xd Most of good 3 perks items are for less than 10k in TP xd Same items I see for 10, 20, 40 and 500.
And what I would call decent, usable sets for:
Light Bow/Rapier
Medium GA/WH
Heavy SnS/Hatchet/GA PvE tanking set
And a light PvP healing set for OPR if we’re down a healer.
That’s on my main. I keep different sets by settlement going straight down the inventory drop down menu. So Eastburn (tanking set), Cleaves point (intel), Brightwood (focus), Restless shores (strength) and Windsward (dex).
My alt is a healer and …that’s it.
It’s a pain. I also don’t want to know how much I’ve spent on gear lol.
1 x PvP
4 x Tanking (not really necessary but might as well get as much mitigation as possible)
4 x DPS
4 x Healing
1 x Invasions
5 x Gathering
5 x Refining
5 x Crafting
and saving any decent Beast Ward pieces I run across in the eventuality they at a Wildlife-based expedition or arena in the future (so another 3x for the roles on that)
At this point, the highest friction point in the game for me is dealing with all of these sets so adding a Wardrobe feature would be much appreciated.
This is how many 625 pieces that I was actively using in sets before the update.
I used an additional 280,000 shards upgrading pieces from the time of the update to now, but no reason to make a new video.
This one alone shows us how badly we need sets. When I wrote my first RPG, I coded in a profile loadout editor as quickly as soon as possible. It’s a no-brainer that it’s required by anyone who plays a loot-based RPG.
Wayyyy too many. I know they are working on it, but I am oh so excited for it’s release. Especially now that I’m swapping gear mid dungeon.
I got 4+ PVE healer sets. Even a simple “folder” option would suffice for me. Being able to create a “gear set folder” in your inventory. Drag in all of your lost ward gear and name it “Lost Ward Gear.” Then maybe customize the icon/color to make it even easier to find. Then have it so you can just right click “equip all” and call it a day! Woo!
I do feel that New World lookslike a lot like a pile of junk mail
Lots of stuff and can t classify them correctly into a BAG or different place in bank
5 then u need pvp gear as for getting ok or bis u need to have 900k gold
So only new world Andy’s get its rest just leave for the upcoming mmos from riot and that other one and AoC but m9 can be done with out ward gear but people in new world want ward gear for
M1 lol . And I forget u need around 200k to get shards or play the game for 20 hours per day
And if u find out u wanna play something else u need a other 900k to make a new setup lol
Tbh I dislike that so much customisation is gear based. I love playing multiple specs and trying out things, in other games I have tons of alts. What I dont enjoy is having to constantly juggle and find gear just because I want to try out new builds. Id much prefer that for example, weapon perks where things you unlocked, even from drops. Gear management is a major pita and I think its poor design and Ive basically decided just to stick with one set and try and improve it. I think horizontal progression is more more interesting than power creep and nw does it poorly.
I have too many sets to count, but I carry six with me all the time.
Two dps sets for muts
Two healer sets for muts
One general use pvp light set, and a few pieces with weapon perks to switch to depending on what I’m playing
One voidbent set for chest runs
I hadn’t heard they are working on it, that’s good news.
I hope they allow for up to 20 sets.
I was carrying around 3 sets and using specific banks to filter the rest, but I think I’ll bump that up to carrying 7 sets for now:
1 - favourite pvp set
2 - fishing set
3 - favourite dps set
4 → 7 - mutation ward sets
I feel like I spend way too much time rearranging my virtual sock drawers, bring on the changes.
Way, way too many. A general tanking set, a full ward set for each type (except beast, that sits in sheds for now), two alt-ward sets for tanking, a PvP set, a set for each tradeskill… it’s ridiculous. Particularly in a game with such poor inventory management systems.
