I'm hoping to get actual useful info about housing decor issue :-/

Sometimes when I go into my house I have a decorating menu across the top of my screen that I can toggle on and off via the B key. Other times it’s not there. How do I bring that menu up when it’s not there? I’d love to decorate my house more but at this point the only way I can pay maintenance is via the map and there’s no way to actually decorate.

In addition, at times I can’t actually leave the house via the Exit. I have to teleport or use /stuck. Other times it works fine. What am I missing here?

I’d try validating the game files via Steam. Haven’t ever had an issue where a housing menu doesn’t pop up. B is for decoration, N is for paying your taxes.

They are currently working on adding doors…but I heard it’s very complicated…

Sometimes they work, sometimes they do not. Literally. Sometimes I go into my house and I can decorate, sometimes I can’t. Why?

I’ve validated files twice now but it does not seem to make any difference.

This happens to me frequently, when I am inside my house and in a queue for either OPR or an Expedition. If you accept the queue for the instance (whichever it is) then when you leave that instance and are returned to “your” house, you are not actually inside your house, you need to exit and then re-enter your house.

Houses are so small with low ceilings and grid snapping issues, I can’t see how doors are really a good idea unless they make housing much bigger.
