There are a few territories on ennead that have T5 whatever. Just one per though. I think they’re just willing upgrade it fast and let it downgrade to get some war supplies.
Have you not been reading anything in this topic? There was no risk before because either way you were profiting. Again, not whining, I don’t govern territory.
What? How is 1 million coins spread across 50+ people per week free coin and easy life? Assuming 2 wars that’s like 10K per player. That’s not an egregious amount.
Again, it’s not free coin. Believe it or not but there’s work that goes into maintaining a territory and you should have some reward for it. Maybe it shouldn’t be coin.
No it’s not! What company is making 1m per week right now on FSS? For example, I’ve been playing on Titan, a streamer event server. Here is what EF has made so far:
Keep in mind the company that owns EF had to pay 100K to claim it. They also have to pay the upkeep cost of 65,312.5 in about a day.
If they don’t they no longer receive any of the tax revenue and the territory downgrades on a regular basis. So currently they’re operating at a loss of 160,203.36. Now, again this is a private event server. It only reaches a peak pop of about 500 players. My point is that this is a terrible system because this shouldn’t be happening. The system should not punish lower pop servers or those currently working towards upgrades. IT IS A TAX/COIN SINK FOR THE POOR. I don’t want to bring up politics but it’s vastly agreed upon throughout every political party, that taxing the poor is bad lmao.
You suppose everyone is just going to start crowd funding towns now? Where’s the incentive?
What???
Are these real questions?
Yes they do! Even if it’s just 1 coin. They absolutely should be profitable from the start!
But for how long? Do you even know or have any idea?
“Embrace throwing coin into a pit” ![]()
No you wont! They’d have to maintain control over the territory for a long time. The people who invested in towns initially may never see that coin back.
Yes, absolutely!
It seems you’re having a hard time understanding. Maybe you missed all of your math classes?
Ok. Well the answers are yes, they do “crowdfund” the towns and the benefit is to use the stations for various purposes. Yes you lose money in the beginning, but later, you profit. Oops, can’t make millions in the first week, system must suck.
Wow. Wasn’t the slam dunk you thought it was, also totally unnecessary.
Can’t wait for everyone to come together to sing Kumbaya. Have you considered reality?
No, that is 2021 thinking. We are now in 2022 and NW has changed. Those of us that have kept up know that
Tell me one reason why they shouldn’t be profitable from the start even if it’s just one coin.
You need to earn it through hard work, personal responsibilty and that is the way it is now.
But you dont have to like it.
Earn what? This is a business. One that won’t be profitable for months. What is there to earn???
I think that you can understand that I understand that territory owning companies are operating at a loss right now.
And that’s a good thing because??? Your arguments make no sense.
Ah. Cant see the forest for the trees. No worries.
Personally I agree with Penfold, but even if I didn’t it’s way better than some company buying ww on the first day and then making like a mil in the first week, leaping ahead everyone else.
I understand that you desire this, probably because you can’t operate without a gold advantage, but some of us like challenges.
Do the math then. Tell me when it will be profitable.
I'M NOT SAYING THEY SHOULD.
I’m saying they shouldn’t be down 150K! Only for the real sweaty players to then take it when IT IS profitable!
Im not whining about it. You do the math.
Let’s be real, if there were actually an extremely low profit, like let’s say 5k a week for starters. You’d be in here complaining about that.
