I know they are a coin sink. I’m saying the fees should be larger.
It could happen, but what are they gonna do with it? rake in their .31%?
I was just stating an odd fact that I do not think many people know, courtesy of Loviel.
FSS will work if enough players join, if not it will just end up being a dead world issue… but yeah the first companies to own territory are not going to make any cash, and AGS only injects about 1.5k per player into the game from hidden stash/gold bags and random monster drops per day.
If a FFS has 6k people login and do the gold route you are only looking at 9 mil going in per day per server, most of the FFS are going to need more than that for the companies to break even OR the war meta will change.
If the rest of the problems still in nw don’t doom it first.
Using Camelot as an example. 800-900 concurrent players and EF made 7k gold last week. This is with lvl 60 transfers in btw. You could literally double the server concurrent users and they’d still be in the red every week until they can get their stations leveled up to a break even point, which won’t happen for weeks.
FFS!! People want to play fresh server and have the real fresh experiece! Yet they cry cause they gonna have to gring their way to max level city!
It shouldnt be easy to be max lvl city and print money! It’s a work in progress…
You guy’s did want a real experience…there you go…now stop crying cause I dont want to read QQ thread about how fresh server isnt working
You are 100% misunderstanding. OP doesn’t want to roll on the FSS. He’s simply pointing out what he sees as a major flaw. I haven’t seen one person on this thread who is going to go to the FSS that is crying about this.
Bold of you to not actually read and act like this rn. Perhaps you should read more.
Agreed. It’s a reaction to how it went over the past year and might be an over-reaction but its not undeserved after a year of some loudly bragging about how many millions they made by owning EF and WIndsward.
They’re making people in the territory-owning companies have to invest their own coin, not everyone else’s, to eventually turn a profit.
I also can’t believe the whining about having to spend 200K. That’s 2K a head for a 100-member company… peanuts when you can easily have 10K by level 25 just questing.
Except this thread isnt talking about printing easy money its talking about how the current burn rate exceeds the sources of income a territory or group of players funding out of pocket can feasibly invest before turning a profit.
It also points out that much of the gold in early game of fresh servers that usually seeds an initial global economy will flat out sink out of the game. This money isn’t generated out of thin air it represents the actual total gold economy, rather than a money printer its a money shredder.
Its designed around servers as they exists today, not as they exist when brand new.
It rightfully points out that the cumulative upfront costs + investment cost + the burn rate far exceed the income rate when you factor in new servers haven’t matured to withstand invasion cycles which has a double dip effect in both income lost due to less upgrades and income reinvested to reupgrade.
It has issues both at the bottom end of the curve being and top ends due to fixed costs milestones and fixed number of destruction; which are then compounded scalability issues dependent on player population.
If all you got from reading the thread is ppl want easy money then maybe reread the thread until you can comprehend.
I’m of the camp of wanting to see it play out. Oddly, I never wanted to play on FSS but now I want to because it will be a drastic experience difference when all territories aren’t owned by the first week.
The big concern I have is not the investment, but that you could throw all funds into a town and quickly have it taken by those stockpiling money for BiS items to win the war to take it. The owners of the town probably won’t be profitable enough to be able to defend - but not sure.
I think that you were on track earlier when you mentioned the new crafting tier changes. I’m pretty sure that they’re really trying to get players to either be more prepared before purchasing a territory or be a lot more aggressive in engaging with the content to generate the gold that they’ll need.
If that’s the way it plays out I’m sure they’ll tweak the % that is allocated at the low end but 100 people in a company pitching in can generate a lot of coin until they turn a profit and the company is able to compensate them and then share the profits… governors will share those profits won’t they? ![]()
As to comprehension… piss off. I comprehend your predictive chicken little scenario just fine but I’ll want to see it play out before I resort to hyperboles like “doom!”
they should have never added these territory changes, only the companies that couldnt war good enough were crying. so what if a team was making millions, you have to be good and WIN to get the big bux, the PLAYERS chose what city is the dominant city and where everyone wants to hang out, like no one wants to hang out in weavers that shits trash, and you make no money from it because its trash and the players CHOSE thats its trash. i hate changes like this, ruins the economy. only noob governors wanted this because they owned spots like weavers LOL and their roster is shit not good enough to take the CHOSEN CITY!
And a lot of companies had to pay better companies to defend their territory for them. ![]()
And “kiss the ring” to be “allowed” to take certain territories
And pay companies to not take a territory from you
And play political games
so what??? any company can do that cant they??? lmaooo
have to edit my message cause you keep editing and whatnot.
this game is a strategic territory conquer game. you have to play political in this game thats the fun if you want terries.
get smarter and play smarter to win. stop being a loner hahaha
Oh don’t worry for me! I’m doing more then good! But…i’m an honest player and I dont feel the need to do shell company stuff or other crook stuff
