FACTION RANK

Actually there is only 5 faction rank that unlock 520 GS stuff and some other trinket.

At lvl 60 Faction lvl 5 is really easy to reach, therefore everyone is at max level in term of faction rank. This system by itself could be way more rich.

Suggestion :

having 100 level of faction that are really long to reach :

Each 10 level give you a new superior name title (soldier,officer,commandant,lord commandant, etc… )
Each 1 level give you “x” points to unlock :

  • Small passiv bonuses
  • % cheaper/taxes from your faction
  • token/rewards/stuff
  • active skill at max rank

(those are juse idea/suggestion and could be something else)

This could give a better feeling of having a unique character ( today everyone is Adjudicator or Commander for exemple )
It give also to the player the ability to show to other what rank he is and therefore that he is strong or new in pvp.
And it can also give more specialisation to our characters.

This does bring to the surface a missing aspect of end game; progression. Most MMOs don’t stop at max level, they provide some other means of progression, and the faction mechanic can be that.
As it’s end game progression though, it has to be slow, maybe even as slow 1-200 furniture.

What I would like to see, is more ways to spend our Faction Tokens. By the time you get all the gear and weapons that you need from the faction vendor, Faction Tokens become useless for the most part (except for buying Runes).

My suggestion:

  1. Add more Tuning Orb materials to the faction vendor or add the complete Tuning Orbs there. Make them cost Faction Tokens + Gold to acquire, like 20K Faction Tokens + 500G for the highest tier one. Make those Tuning Orbs/materials tradable. The market will get more life.

  2. Add watermark system for the Faction gear. For instance, if you buy the 520GS Life Staff now, unlock a slightly better one at 525GS or 530GS. Make it increase by 10GS per same item bought until 580. Then make it increase by 5GS. There is still a grind to get better items from Faction vendor, but they will worth the effort.

This change would make more people do the Faction quests, as they would have better rewards to get the more time they would invest.
