Post instantly deleted and all it does is show the impact of this exploit. I said in the post that I DO NOT explain how to do the exploit, they still deleted it.

Yeah I was in the middle of watching your video and the page disapeared and automatically closed the video even. Good thing you posted it here in the comments as well, I guess the CM’s arent reading comments as much as they read thread titles.

Its getting removed from the comments as well. How shady is Amazon for covering this up? I dont tell people how to do it, yet they keep trying to hide it.

They dont want it to become widespread knowledge because of bad press and they will be forced to use more resources to fix it quickly instead of fixing it slowly.
Teach me how to do it and I’ll put up a detailed video on how to do it and spread it. I’ll take the ban to light a fire under AGS’s ass on this, it needs hotpatching.

Thank you for your efforts. It is alarming we have blew the horns about this for 72+ hours before an acknowledgment. This game made so much money and it feels like 9 people work on it and far less monitor it, (Yea holidays, breaks, etc). I worked holidays, to cover for other shifts. Sometimes it be like that.

This exploit, and all the others will keep popping up as long as the game is on this engine. It is a straight up fact at this point.
The absolute best thing they can do for the longevity of new world is to rebuild it in a better engine. Leave this up for people to play with, but tell them the entire game is being built in a better engine. That way if problems keep coming up they can at least hire more programmers to squash it. With the lumberyard/azoth engine they cant since no one else uses it. This is a common problem in development. People keep using bad software because too much time/money has been sunk into it.
Rebuilding the game did wonders for Final Fantasy. I believe it is the only hope for New World.

This is a single musket shot from RFDGirthquake on CoS. He is using the exploit to hit for 10,683 damage per shot. My full thrust protect mitigated about 40%. Dont worry everyone, game is working as intended, and no one will be banned for cheating.
FYI, happy to provide the video of the cheaters…
