Ait only way to fix it is if someone posts a video showing a detailed description of how to do it. Time to make it widespread. If I knew how Iād make the video right now.
The real funny thing is, that people today convince themselves that those exploits of the past. Did not pave the way for players and whole companies to snowball the New World PvP scene for years to come.
Itās like people no longer understand causality.
Yeah AGS have literally stated on several occasion they wish people wouldnt release info like this publically because when they do AGS are forced to prioritize it right away instead of doing it later⦠thats such a yikes.
The game wonāt completely die. But the PvP scene in New World will deteriorate even further. Till itās actually mandatory to cheat to compete.
Just like it was in APB back in the day. The Dev team of that MMO had to actually remake and relaunch that game. And didnāt bounce back from the results of the Cheatersā Haven that game was.
It has always been mandatory to cheat to compete in territory wars. Thats the reason I stopped doing wars entirely.
It was so frustrating. You can never trust anything in this game, especially in the big 100 person battles like that. With there being hundreds of various exploits at any given time, there will always be cheaters.
Whoa whoa there you have no proof of this and your observations are clearly not based on reality⦠to paraphrase what will be the likely response to this statement.
But ye ppl who want to say that the snowball and exploits that existsed since and before launch have largely been eradicated or no longer have an effect on the game. KEK
But also donāt go branding legacy players negatively, this exploit was clearly known and brought to light by fresh start players returning to the game after 9+ mos of quitting it.
You right the reality is those exploits, dupes and continous soft stance on RNG and Bots has no impact on the long term health of the games core functions in terms of territory control and economy.
Yup we should definitely not trust our eyes.
Keep calm and carry on, game is doing just fine xD.
I completely agree, this bug should a HIGH priority fix when the devs get back. Its not just affecting OPRs and 3v3s but also territory wars. Iāve been a part of and have friends who have been in recent āfarmā wars where either the defending or attacking company uses this exploit to dominate the other company.
I cannot express enough how helpless this exploit makes players feel. When you spend thousands of hours to get your character the best equipment, so youāre able to compete in wars just to have all of that hard work negated by a one-shot exploit.
I have close to 4k hours played in this game and Iāve never thought about playing anything else, until now.
Please AGS, prioritize fixing combat bugs, there just isnāt enough PVE and endgame things to keep players interested.
@Luxendra please message me and Iāll explain how the bug is activated.
This has been widespread for a few days now, and I will have to agree with Jiggy on this one.
If I donāt hear from AGS soon - I may just create a tutorial on how to do this to at least level the playing field? Idk feels like a bad move either way but this is unacceptable to just not address the issue until the breaking point. I feel like weāre past that breaking point too
Wishful thinking. AGS basically confirmed with the roadmap that theyāre dropping support for PvP. What we have now is what weāll have for the next 12 months.
A surprising choice given the action combat PvP is the only thing separating NW from other games. Maybe thereās just a bigger market for PvE people wanting to run Lazarus every day for months on end though.
Iām guessing the reason so many people are moving over to PvE is because there is always some exploit to be abused in PvP. PvP has come down to exploit, or donāt play it at all.
