In-game Buffs/De-Buffs not showing up

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I’ve been having a problem with my in-game interface. My ability Buffs/Debuffs are not showing up. Like when I use my healing ability, the healing buffs do not show up. When I am attacked with a debuff, they also don’t show up. I’ve tried resetting everything to default and also reinstalling the game. I still do not see any effects. Food buffs however do show up but just the active abilities and debuffs don’t show.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Makes it impossible to tell when buffs and/or debuffs are active, especially in War.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Simply logging into the game…
  • When did this happen? I noticed this two patches ago(May 22’ PST) but hoped it would get fixed.

I forgot to mention, Others can see the buffs/debuffs when active, but it doesn’t show up on my screen as shown in the image after using sacred ground and beacon.

Thank you for sharing! It’s definitely interesting you mention the May patch, as there was a fix in for this during that time, though I know the focus was on food buffs not displaying. I’ll dig into this!

Thank you for following up. Hopefully you can determine what is causing it on my end. All food buffs do appear as normal, just ability buffs/debuffs do not show.

I can attest to this as well. I have to relog several times in order for my haste passive to work on the bow after dodging. Does not show or apply it on character.

I don’t what you guys did but it worked! THANK YOU!!! Just logged in and see my ability buffs now showing! W!

I have the exact same issue and just made a post. It’s an extremely frustrating bug for someone who is competitive in PVP.

It’s been like this for about 4 weeks and came in after the big may/june update from memory. I made a bug report as well.
