Given, the lengthy wait for a playable release, due to the insane que times, afk bots, lack of server xfers on launch, or even cross server play(should be stock in any new MMO its common place now days) and many bugs it is only fair to hope for some sort of compensation in-game.

In-game currency is a non-existent used for cosmetics only so cost Amazon little to nothing. Providing players with access to a cosmetic in exchange of all the hassle and inconvenience of their lack of preparedness, foresight, and response.

Dear Karen,

No company is ever going to compensate anything unless there is a downtime of 24-48hrs. Clearly that hasn’t happened. Being in a queue, is NOT considered server downtime.

Long queue times: can be solved by changing servers. Don’t want to? sit in the queue and wait. They solved that with the latest update and maintenance. Still have queue times? change server when they release that option or, just make a new character in a new realm if you can’t wait.

AFK bots: They have clearly responded to that. The result is you don’t see people running into the walls anymore.

Server transfers on launch is not a thing to be expected. You don’t have a company spend money on an option they aren’t sure they want to implement yet till they see the demand. They saw the demand and they said they will implement it. You obviously don’t know how difficult it is to implement.

In-game shop is not meant to be “pay to win”. It’s for people that love RP gaming, so clearly it isn’t for you, so stay out of it. If you want a “pay to win” option, go play some other game. This game doesn’t have a monthly subscription therefore they need another source of income to maintain servers till the DLC’s come out. Granted it’s not major as not everyone is going to be using the in-game shop but still it’s something.

I don’t understand why people cry about in-game compensation a lot for a game they paid for one time, no subscription and they have other options in front of them to play.

Be a grownup and wait like everyone else. The options they promised us will soon be released and you’ll transfer with your friends to a new realm and play together. Stop crying about compensation. Go read a book.

More like your lack of flexibility when it comes to server choice. I play on a high pop server with 0 queue time and have been happily playing since launch.

There is only so much you can predict when it comes to player mindset. Yes, the launch went incredibly well for them, but isn’t that a good thing? They cant force you to choose different servers, they can only suggest it.

What? The devs have been extremely responsive when it comes to bug reports and communicating plans to the players. So I have no idea where this is coming from.

Are you talking about the shop currency? Why in the world would they do that. Like you said, the currency does nothing but give cosmetic items. What would giving you a cosmetic do for you if the game is “unplayable”?

Cross server play would ruin the dynamic and idea behind the game. The whole idea is to play with the people of your server and work together to take territories and PvX.

Once again, what? As far as bugs and exploits go, this has been one of the smoothest launch releases of an MMO since I can remember. I don’t know what bugs you ran into, but as far as game breaking, they were minimal.

TL;DR
This is a typical response from someone who is stubborn and expects everything from devs and want it now. The games launch has been wonderful for those who are willing to actually work with the devs and not demand from them. Once again, I have been playing since launch with 99% no queue times. On top of that the devs increased server cap and people STILL complained. Go play another server until transfers come out. Tired of hearing people complain about a problem they can solve themselves.
