I’m black as well and you really need to chill out dude if this is all the evidence that you have. Everything is not racist just because you want it to be. Even if it is, just ignore the idiots and move on, because at that point you know you are the better person no matter the color of your skin.

I had someone type “ching chong got it wrong”. Reported that asshole ASAP. Unfortunately, that’s the only recourse we have. Will they do anything? I kind of doubt it. I am sorry to hear of your experience too, OP. Racism has zero place in civilized society but there will always be the angry little rats who can’t vocalize it out loud in person due to their own cowardice and having to potentially face up to the consequences of any actions / words, so they end up online acting out. What else is new.
Report it, and move on. Can’t let human garbage like that ruin your day.

he is a black person speaking in the NA language section (where most readers are NA region) of the forum. There are things that he understands the context of better than you who may be raised in another country, with a different context.
night of the museum has a literal monkey in it, and is not an example of living/growing up in America.
I am sure there are many things or statements from your country that have a specific context or understanding that someone from another country wouldn’t get based on just understanding the words. This is one of those cases.

ignoring it and moving on is one option that people often take for there own sanity, but its not wrong to not ignore it. If everyone ignores a problem, it just stays there.
I’m not going to tell you to fight, but I’m not gonna tell people they should just accept whatever people do to them either.

I sometimes calls people monkey but that has nothing to do with skincolor. Its more like saying they did something stupid but with a smile.
I dont think many people notice skincolor in this game with all equipment and all effects going on…? Especially not in a zerg…

This is the reality as minorities. In the end though, what POS like that think has zero bearing on how we comport ourselves, handle our business, or deal with others in general.

tl’dr. I’m only going by your title since you wrote a novel. How about you just learn how to use the block or mute feature and turn your mature language filter back on since meaningless words affect you so deeply. AGS has better things to do. Sticks & stones mate.

I’m also going to tell someone they should ignore something because to me I’d rather ignore something than actually try to have anything done about it. You have to go through all sorts of hoops and loops before AGS takes action on discrimination in game. There are plenty of threads on the forums about similar situations. It’s the same picture every time. You’ll get a bunch of posters telling you to toughen up and buckle up champ while you wait endlessly for AGS to do anything about it in the game.
If you cant handle some random dude writing you crap in a game the problem is not with him, but with you.
