I’m personally not touching the game until 3v3 comes out on the PTR.
I want to play fun & competitive PvP, but currently there’s nothing for me.

What I recall from the video is that they mentioned that they wanted to do another bug/bots/etc kinda month again but what I recall was they were saying that they eventually want to do it, not that it will be in April. But yeah best way to find out is likely the PTR notes posted tomorrow.

TODAY FOR SURE RIGHT?! RIGHT?!

I’m honestly hoping to see some cool little QoL things snuck into this as well. Maybe this is where the trading post remake fits in or as mentioned before a fix of PvP rewards to at least drop to your expertise level. Small things like that would be nice fixes while we wait for arenas and PvP reward track next month.

Fixes on my please fix list that have been around forever. Plus few new ones.

  • Aptitude notifications when entering instanced content. It’s not a big deal but it really breaks some immersion as it’s a constant reminder that there are bugs still left in this game from so long ago that have not been addressed. No blame, I know they are prioritizing them but it’s one of the few that really stands out.

  • Icon swapping bug. Again been around forever and just stands out so much. Reminder that there are bugs in the game. While other things are more subtle and easily ignored. It’s a psychological thing haha more than causing issues.

  • Housing items don’t give points correctly. Many times while green they do because points for some reason. Might be specific items (looking at you ebony furniture) and might just need a few touch ups on some variables? This is small and more of a me problem than one I think that plagues a large amount of players.

  • Got plenty more. Been meaning to write them down and compile them into a post to bring attention to the big offenders but the top two there are the ones that really really stand out.

What else do you want fixed? Fishing luck? Fishing in general haha. Giving us access to the ultimate fishing trophy finally? Curious what people are looking for. We tend to say “I want these bugs and desync fixed!” but what specifically about it or which bugs? Think that’s some solid discussion.

First full week of the month. Needs time in PTR to be tested so next week seems not ideal since that would already by 1/3 of the way through the month. They got bogged down with the bugs in this last release and moved devs onto those issues. Was fixed this morning at 2am my time. Now have resources to drop today. They don’t like dropping things late in week since they can’t respond to issues over weekend as well.

Therefore. INCOMING IN AN HOUR OR FEW!!

With whatever they do, I hope the “known issues” list shrinks not grows.

Yeah I mean I think the goal is for the known issue lost to shrink in a meaningful way. Games will always have a list of known issues and sometimes that’s a massive list but the goal is for them to be minor, very rare, non-impactful. That’s my goal. Want to see the icon swap bug and aptitude notification ones gone and all of the other ones that constantly remind us there players that the games broken. When those are gone, then people stop noticing and enjoying the game.

All other games have a massive just if known issues, is just a matter of them not being game breaking or in your face.

Desync saw a great victory. Would love to see more progress on that as well seeing how that is a big core issue.

This should be a bug fix month and pvp stuff is probably in may. The game is working pretty well right now considering and after last patch not many things I’m to concerned about right now bug wise other than my tier 5 tent quest still never gave me upgrade or allowed me to take it again. Sadly I opened 2 cache from tempest repeated quest that gave me 500gs items which really hurts after learning these are all Lego gear once upgraded. So 2 full caches of legos gone.
I know there are some small fixes like making it possible to mount all trophies you own or change them from bio screen I would love to see this month. This alone is my one big QL issue left unfixed to date.

Other game modes I would expect in may or later, like the invasion and war for casual players in Eden, Shatt, and cleave.

I doubt they will balance BB until summer to allow people to fall in love with before they tone it down some.

Probably going to see them fix the Naga in tempest next month, someone said it was fixed but sadly no, still stuck with majority groups wanting to do stuff the fast way instead of intended way. I guess you could protest but getting kicked for not following along is not to much fun either. Be nice to not have to be in this situation. Pretty easy to do as intended and I think they already nerf the orbs hp and respawn. Otherwise it’s just far better dps in recent groups.

Making tempest a mutation or adding others might be possible though depending on how much work they have done so far in this path.

Making salvage of legos and other high end gear more rewarding like blunderbuss cache items are would be very nice as well. This would decrease prices of ori ingots though but given its limited supply that might need to happen of large servers. I originally though Asimov, runic and phoenix would be nice to get from Lego but it might be better to just give more of the prior materials for legos, so CD items don’t lose value. Then again given the horrible return on investment in crafted items being so bad the majority of time I guess it would still work out as it would just allow for more crafting. I guess this idea is going to be touchy change for some people

I guess they could make expeditions free this month and make the orbs increase luck values and gold per boss, or add gypsum chance possibly each boss drop.

Add more chances to get blunderbuss upgrades, currently tempest doesn’t drop upgrades very often for BB, I have had 12 in last two days below my current expertise level for some reason.

Ooo you have me at the salvaging improvements for legendary items and the trophy thing as well. Forgot those were things we desperately need as well and think they would for well into the bugs/bots/balance month. They seem to like to throw in QoL updates in there last time.

All wonderful ideas and would love to see them. Also been hoping they give more benefit to those legendary creating material items. As of right now they don’t really have a sink to remove them from the game unless it’s a highly desirable weapon to craft. Would like to see it be given more value than 5 gold, especially when you get excited to see a legendary bag drop only to frown when you see what it is. Maybe have them be used to improve crafting for all items if you choose to use them that way. Maybe a way to blacklist perks (like harvesting luck) on your gear and is consumed in the process).

Work on the minimap seems to be progressing, as seen by changes to mote/herb world map tracking in the last patch. Probably not ready for release, though.

Ooo, you think they gonna release one? I kinda liked their mentality that it breaks immersion and the compass as a replacement. Then again that’s just me, can imagine many people are like efff that haha.

If they ever get around to more randomized nodes, than I would appreciate more of an emphasis on the compass and it would reward more of the exploration aspect of the game. But yeah either way I’m happy and know many people would be super happy with a mini map.
