In normal circumstances Iâd support permabans for dupers but in this case where servers that had 1k queue 10 days ago are left with 900 people in peak I just canât.
They legit banned half of their active playerbase (thatâs not even huge to begin with) because they canât code their game properly. Letâs be honest, it wasnât some hard to execute dupe that required third party assistance.
Donât see this game lasting past summer, itâs just no way anyone will come back for halfassed content and biggest mess of an engine that ever existed.

many of my friends got some 1-2 day bans in last few months and are not given any reason, if you guys remember AGS themselves dont save the reason ppl got banned.
some of them even got perma bans for no reason and most of their appeal got approved luckily enough. dont forget ppl used to get mass report and banned too.
I mean you sound like you fell out the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. They do not share that information with us but you have to be pretty brain-dead to think they donât have that information at all.
Yet people keep Duping and keep getting banned as the NW population keeps decreasing. Great Job
Psychologically, if you give people the chance of an advantage, most will take it, regardless of the punishment.
Banning Players for the AGSâs Cosmic Incompetence is just ditching responsibility onto customers and an enormous Neglection of Playerâs time. My time is far more valuable than any Ban or your opinion, so I consider it an unfair action by orders of magnitude and has nothing to do with you.
Thankfully Iâm not playing much. The bugs in this game are so numerous and easy to replicate that you need to know whatâs a bug to avoid. Last time, I was using Firestaff for a MONTH before realizing I was using a bug on it. If I get banned for that dumb mistakeâŠI would want revenge.
I mean if you look up a dupe and complete said dupe should you not be punished cause the population of the game? Really weâre that desperate to have 10k pop. Lol. Come on man.
So, you can assume anyone that dupes or exploits will always look it up and replicate it and therefore should be permanently banned?
All while ignoring that temporal bans exist (penalties), removal of said items exist and almost every game does it. And ignore that the company keeps creating the dupes and exploits. And ignores they are causing the decline population.
Iâve had enough after this point. Only cuz there is a bug in a game and u are aware if u exploit it will give u unfair advantages over or against other players, U SHOULD NOT DO IT AND REPORT IT!!!
Any abuse, cheat, hack should be punished with permanent ban at 1st time and hardware ban at 2nd time.
Every game on the market have or had bugs, hacks, exploits. Each company deal with the issues differently.
But so far Amazon went lightly punishing ppl at first dupe method and now more ppl did dupe cuz they considered its worthing to dupe for 500k-5mil gold and get 1-2 weeks ban. Iâm glad that finally Amazon started permanently ban such scum and garbage humans that are always looking for abuse, hack, cheat to be good at something. Cuz otherwise, playing fairly they would simply SUCK. -Sure go report me, np.
Well, as much as youâre allowed to be glad you will also be allowed to play the game alone soon. I havenât duped obviously but I can notice that my server went from 1k people in queue to only 1.2k peak and thatâs JUST AS BAD as duping.
Game is dying, bleeding even more players is one more nail in the coffin. Soon there wonât be game at this rate.
Iâd rather have all of these guys unbanned and items simply removed. But we can guess at this point that AGS canât remove items.
This is not a discussion about ban appeals and you obviously didnât read the post even. Pretty sure have the right to point out the poor treatment towards players. You trying to censor a discussion on a game forum just because you have tunnel vision and you missing the bigger picture? Should i draw a picture for you?
Whatâs the bigger picture Mr. Big Brain? To leave the abusers, hackers, exploiters run around? Or to start ban the fools and idiots who dont âadaptâ and start dupe, hack, abuse, exploit to be âcoolâ like u?
Itâs impressive that people are so willing to work under a CS team that doesnât provide evidence for bans.
Itâs even more impressive that AG, in all their assurances that weâre at the spearhead of their decisions, still support this clearly-flawed CS. Even if they were doing a perfect job, doing it without showing their work is pretty much the worst way to go aboutâŠwell, many things.

It would be even better if someone from AG spoke to this, yes. Itâs a noted problem and has been since launch but my guess is theyâre locked in contract with these people and only realized after the fact that they were basically useless for what they were supposed to be doing-- and for a new, growing MMORPG, a CS team that makes customers feel dejected is a great way to drum up insanely bad press.
Which is funny, because even without their CS being half-baked, they have plenty of bad press to go around.
