For me, it would depend on severity of the exploit and past history. Repeat offenders permanent. Someone who abused the hell out of this one permanent. Someone who did it by accident would get no punishment. Someone who did it maybe a few times for their own personal stash would get the 2-3 weeks. Anybody that posted duped would be permanent. There may be some cases I missed here but I think you get the gist of how I feel about it.

if a player cheated in the worst way possible āDupingā a perma ban is a MUST, it can dystroy a games economy completely even kill a game. they did the right thing, next time they wont try it!

honestly AGS does very little in the way of enforcement, if they havenāt banned you yet then your likely safe for now.
but hereās an idea instead of trying to get free passes for you and your exploiter friends, maybe just donāt exploit?

Not for nothing but cancer isnāt a good example. That the health complications are nontrivial is a constant battle with cancer. A lot of times theyāre already just giving up a lot from their lives just at a chance to get better.
A better example would be throwing out the whole loaf of bread because the corner of a crust is stale. You can easily cut that piece off and still have a loaf.
As to the topic, donāt cheat. But also, they do definitively need getting rid of their shitty CS. Like hands down. Theyāre goddamn clowns.

The problem of the 2022 internet generation is, they think they can do what ever they want without consequences.
Cyber bulling, pedophilia, sexuell harassment, being raccist, insulting etc. The list is long and the behave of the āgeneration human rights so iam untouchableā is getting out of control.
Do you think 1 minute about the problem duper and cheater creates? They spoil the game for many tousands people, they hurt them, they take there freedom to enjoy a game without a trading post shutdown every 2 days. And do you think about the amazon company? How much money those duping case cost.
To summarize they deserve more than a game ban.
