Currently the corruption rewards aren’t that appealing to people who’ve already surpassed that level. This typically leads to overwhelming corruption in lower level areas. I’ve seen this happen many times on Valhalla so much so that I’ve been doing them myself.
I’ve solo cleared 731 breach’s (As of this post) and Companies will rarely do corruption runs even though it leads to an invasion. First Light is always a nightmare if I or someone else is not consistently clearing these corruptions. People only do them for a few shards, and that’s all, If there was a slightly better gold yield, perhaps it would entice the companies to actually cleanse the area of corruption.
Corruption also re-appears very quickly and often times Major lvl 25’s are broken. In-fact, as of me writing this, 2 Majors in First Light have been bugged for the past 5 days on Valhalla. If I do a full corruption run in First Light, by the time I’m done, you have maybe 15 minutes before they all start popping up again which makes territories dangerous for the newer players.
I clearly enjoy clearing these breaches as I want to keep First Light safe for the newer players to not get one-shot by accidentally walking past a tendril. This is just what I’ve been noticing over my time in Valhalla/First Light.
