Don’t forget that when server crash while we are in a mutation, it still counts towards our limit. Thanks AGS for this awesome feature. Last night I got 2 throw-away runs. First : server crash while we running. Second : we want sell shards but Group kicking bug and somehow you cant leave expedition / group either and we missed the window. Fix your game before limiting our game time
mutations are already too profitable as it is. No reason to reward sweats even more.
But you don’t see any problem that sweaty pvper gain 5-10m gold / weekly lol
i don’t care about legacy servers. If people want to be part of that bs, its on them
I’ve run 5 M10s this cycle, and as of last night I’ve made (at least) 60k just off selling drops. God knows what that number be when I log in tonight. All for things that I got for free doing something I was going to do anyways. I consider myself a casual at just under 1300 hours so far since launch (others may disagree).
The average gamer absolutely cannot keep up with active M10 runners. The only people that come close are mega-companies that own multiple territories.
Fun fact, many M10 runners are also in mega companies because let’s face it, they’ve got more free time to do that shit than your normal person.
AGS built a game that values time more than skill, and so when they put caps on the gap time can give you, the copious free-time population feels persecuted.
25 M10 Laz run at 25min / average is 10.4 hours of game time. For someone who play over 3-4 hours / everyday Thoses numbers don’t add-up. Why am I timegated ? Also let’s be real , I’ll show my inventory after couple M10s run to show BoE and it’s nowhere near 60k / run , most run you salvage EVERYTHING. Nothing good, yea you can have some BIS gear here and there but it’s like ONE or TWO drop weekly stop with the Kapp. Please provide me with your TP listing so we can corborate your story. I have over 70 legendary on TP atm and most don’t sell because TP is flooded with item
1.) Laz is one of the shortest dungeons, so good cherry picking there.
2.) Running a dungeon requires forming a group, which is often hit or miss depending on who is online at the time, so you’re realistically playing much longer than your 10.4 supposed hours just for the M10 aspects.
I said 60k after 5 runs (though a whole lot more is currently listed).
I also have no idea what current market values are and just list things based on what I feel is appropriate.
60k/5 = 12k per run average. That averages to about ONE decent legendary drop per dungeon.
Sounds like you’re not good at pricing things to sell then.
EDIT: Also, do you not engage PvP? Seems like you want all your time to be in PvE.
You still didn’t answer my question. I took Lazarus because it’s average ( Genesis can go lower and average 17-18min on experienced group ) / Tempest more around 38-40min for a smooth run. It’s still way low on time spent ( what if I want to game all day on Sunday for 12 hours and just do mutation ? ). My pricing on TP is irrelevant here , I just run bunch of M10 and drop most legendary BoE cheap on TP. I used to do pvp but kinda got bored of OPR atm and getting slotted into wars isn’t easy. I’m not sure why the fact that I like PVE more than PVP atm is relevant to this conversation.
4 hours, 7 days a week
That’s 28 hours. In your Laz vacuum that’s roughly 40% of your play time doing the most rewarding thing in the game.
Every MMO ever has time-gated the leading forms of progression.
Then plan your time around that. You’re spending an exorbitant amount of time in game, and you seem to only want to do the most rewarding content. It’s gated because of the rewards. No progression based-game is built for players like you unless they’re pay2win.
Would you be content if they let you run the “fake” mutations without any rewards? No drops, no gold, no shards.
Would you run M10s all day for absolutely no reward?
Again. i said it already in 3 different languages. But i like to read myself a lot. so here again:
25 runs hardcap a week is the laysiest and uncreative way to timegate people.
We have already 5+ ideas how to regulate it better. player made this ideas up. Like only hardcap M10, decrease leggo drops, pay with umbralshards for more runs, WHATEVER just remove this stupid hardcap.
and if we check the history of the changes to accessibility to Dungeons they lowered the requierements every 3-4 months. So I look into a better future.
Why so black and white? there are better options to regulate it.
To establish what is acceptable and what is not.
It’s a no-brainer that everyone would love to run M10s as much as they could without limits.
It is, hands down, the MOST rewarding content in the game. Period.
I’m just wanting to figure out if this desire for more is because they actually enjoy the M10s, or because they just want more free dice rolls at the loot.
Make lower mutation doesn’t count to your limits so I could enjoy help people when I’m at limit from M10. I LIKE / ENJOY doing mutations . On others MMo you can run dungeons or harder mode as much as you want so I don’t understand. ( M+ in WOW for example ). I know I spend alot of times in this game (2.5K hours / no need to remind me
) I just want to enjoy part of the game I like that’s all, I don’t see what is so complicated about it. ) most lucrative activity ? ( EF/WW laughing doing 5m / weekly for maximum 2 défense war) Anyways my point is the limit is stupid and badly implemented. Either we increase to 35 or either lower mutation shouldn’t count toward limit. Edit : I don’t give a damn about gold , I’m gambling all my savings into furnishing aptitude crate
This is the internet you can say anything and never have to PROVE it, Like picking on people’s grammar and never have to face them IRL.
5M a week (for multple defense wars AND invasions) divided by the 75ish+ people to keep them.
(5000000/75) = 66666 per week, assuming none of that money was spent on maintaining the city.
We’ve already established I’ve made that much in 2 days of M10s, and I’m only 20% through my total runs. At this rate I’m going to make 5x as much as them, and there’s no chance of me losing a territory or any other risk associated.
Stop with the Kapp right , we all know that not all treasury going into payouts for MOST company and is divided with a WAY smaller group. Idk whe
As much as I honestly don’t care if they raise the cap or not… I’m not understanding why it’s such a big deal. I mean… a normal dungeon run takes what? 9-12 minutes if I’m being honest? That’s a decent average?
So say that’s accurate… Take the 12 minutes on the big side, times 25 runs, equates out to 300 minutes which is 5 straight hours of gaming. Now… that’s not taking into account stepping away periodically to bio, eat, refill your drink, “tap dat thang” or whatever else people do for a few minutes between long gaming sessions but… Adding in all that “loose time” (and I’m being SUPER rough here) I’d say you’d total out at around 6-6.5 hours of solid gaming before you ran out of mutations. Factor in the other stuff people like to do ingame (WT runs / farm / play the market / talk some chit with friends / etc) and you could potentially add another 3hours or so.
Taking the above possible 9-9.5hrs into account and… do you really NEED 300 minutes of mutations?
Also keep in mind that only works using my guesstimate of 9/12 mins a dungeon. It doesn’t factr in your group wiping , etc.
Yes, since there is nothing else to do for people who have already everything since April.
This is patently incorrect, sir. This game has WAY more going for it than just doing mutation runs. If that’s all you “choose” to do, that’s fine. It’s like owning a Ferrari and only using 1 speed.
Me? I like to shift through “all” the gears ![]()
