Guys, 100 orders is nothing. Come on. This is another reason why the economy in the game is broken. Sometimes you destroy items because you don’t have space and can’t sell them for the lack of trading orders available. This should not even have a limit. We already pay tax to put this there. Like it is so broke.
Word
More trade means more welfy peeps
And more welfy peeps means more tax payers
And more tax payers means more welfy companies
And more welfy companies means more town enhancements
And more town enhancements means more crafting
And more crafting means more stuffs to sell on trading post
And more stupid selling on trading post means more welfy peeps
And we all want to be welfy peeps
I have sold all sorts of things. Since day one of the lunch, I’m always testing the market and trying to find good tradings. I probably made 300k already in the market (which is not much as I’m still going to work 8 hours a day). Most of the time with I sell raw materials and refined.
However, In the last couple of weeks, I start doing more crafting and then things got a bit more complicated. As one run of crafting you make 100 items. From that 100 items, at least 20% are good to sell. Boom!!! In a week you don’t have space anymore.
I tried to put some items very low value and very high value of the same item and both sell!!! The problem is that the person that is looking for that specific item is not constantly looking to the market. So let’s say you change your build and now you are looking for a mage build with perks that complement your fire staff. For 100 days you didn’t care and now suddenly you are looking like a crazy maniac for int items with empowered fireball. My perfect int item could be there for 7 days for 0.99 and would not sell because you decide to look at that item 5h after my trade order expired. I will look at this and think “Shit, nobody buys these items… I would not even bother to list it anymore”. And you will think “shit, everybody is buying this item, very hard to find” when behind the scenes I have 10 items that you want and I will probably destroy them because I cannot list all my items as I need to choose what goes or not.
And this is only ONE scenario. We have many like that and it just make the market like rubbish as FIRST OF ALL WE DON’T HAVE A F****ING GOOD SEARCH FILTERS IN THE TRADING POST (this is unbelievable, give the table schema and I can help u guys to create some queries for that).
So imagine how many nice items that people are just holding because they don’t know what to do with that and at the same time they don’t have space to list all that they have.
What do you prefer, buy in the corner shopping where they have only one brand of whatever or buy in amazon where you can find not only exactly what do you want but many brands to choose from? This is so basic that don’t even understand why you guys have any doubts that max 100 orders are ridiculous…
if they are worth selling, I.E. they’d have to actually start being bought, trust me unless ya crafting end game stuff ya not making 20 things to sell per batch of crafting gear
2ndly, if ya selling gear for 99 cents, its deff not worth selling just salvage it and dont flood ya own sales with junk that wont be bought
They wont do it because they have calculated at max 2000 if everyone had 100 sales then the TP wont lag. Going over that amount it will start to lag. More than likely tbh.
My friends, your arguments are so poor. Apart from @raw.recruit that give us a technical argument.
You are saying that 100 is enough just for the sack of don’t flood the market? Come on? It is a fu****ing market. It’s a capitalist market, not a Marxist market. You want things that don’t sell because people don’t buy not because people don’t post sell orders. Let the people decide it. Go to games like Albion Online where the market drives half of the game and you will understand why that simple design game is so successful.
Looks like people are playing the market of this game as a single-player offline game.
