Indestructible is the most destructible perk

Ironically, the Indestructible perk gives any drop a 100% chance of being destroyed.

“Wanna bet”, I whisper to myself, as I smash the salvage button for the umpteenth time.

60% of gear in this game needs to go. The itemization is god awful on most stuff. Here is a legendary life staff with STR and siege dmg! Whoever was put in charge of the loot design needs to be replaced by someone with a brain.

I know right, why can’t I spawn in at lvl 60, and every time I log in they give me a BiS set. Why do they make people actually have to work for it smh.

no offense and I mean this in the nicest way possible, you are an idiot. Smart loot has been used for almost 2 decades in games now, seeing as you probably dont even know what that is I will explain. Sword scales off Dex and Str, Swords can ONLY drop with STR, DEX, and CON as possible attributes, none of this Int / Foc sword garbage. Apply this to all gear

Well there’s enough crap with the random stats alone so some of the perks are straight up garbage. For my 2.1k hours I haven’t had a single bis random LS drop for example. There are some good named ones but so far I had 0% success. Shouldn’t be that hard either right ?

I agree with this. But removing bad perks from the perk pool is dumb and definitely shouldn’t be implemented.

And about the “you’re an idiot” comment, you have no clue on what you are talking about. Having every drop been useable would destroy the dopamine factor you get from finally getting a good roll.

Inderstructible is not bad. Its completely useless.

Definitely not completely useless, but if they made armor degrade more when you get different debuffs such as corruption, blight or acid. It would be a better perk.

It is useless dude. How much gold will it actually save? 10 pieces a month if youre not garbage at PvE? Please. You cant justify something being usefull based on a what if maybe eventually

Smart Loot does not make every piece BiS, it does however remove the useless drops we get. Nothing like getting mana back on kill as a STR user, makes complete sense. Getting that juicy siege dmg on a life staff is also sick, very useful. Removing stuff like that does not all of a sudden mean BiS for everyone as they have 9000 different perks in this game. This isnt a hard concept to understand so I stand by my previous statement

There’s a difference between something being useless and not useful. Indestructible is not useless to the point it’s a dead perk. Something completely useless would be a dex piece with the wind chill weapon perk on it.

I agree with smart loot but removing less useful perks from the perk pool shouldn’t really be a thing. Yes there are some perks that are completely dead together and shouldn’t be in the same pool, but indestructible is not one of those perks, it’s just not useful.

Indestructible, corruption resistance. blight resistance are BiS. End of discussion.

My feeling is that they know which perks we use… exactly to the .0001 percent… they should improve perks that are not being used and watch the numbers till the achieve parity.

nobody uses great axe execute, ok let’s bump the damage another 10%… and watch for a month… still no? Increase the speed of the attack and it’s hit box…

No one using armor breaker… (cause almost nobody blocks) change it to rend armor on a hit… instant uptake in use

I would change indestructible to be the old resilient… say 2% resist to all damage.

The goal I would think is that there are no bis perks… just lots of options for how to build…

You can still do bow ig for example and when out of everything you can pushback people away with grit dunno. Sounds like 100 times better perk than indestructible
