INFINITE Gathering Bug for mining - SEVERE ISSUE

  • What is your character name in New World:
    V0C

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on:
    Tlillan-Tlapallan

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing:
So, I got 300 Strength for the first time to use the 25% chance to mine an Ore with a single swing bonus for the first time today.

The BUG I am describing happened in combination with another KNOWN bug.

The KNOWN BUG is that sometimes a gathering node will NOT DISAPPEAR and is still Clickable even after it has been gathered.

Previously when encountering these nodes and clicking them nothing would happen except a character stutter.

However on SOME of these BUGGED nodes I have come across since i got the 25% chance to mine an Ore with a single swing bonus there is a different behavior.

Every 4 times i click the BUGGED gathering node (25%) it gives me the FULL resource return as if i had mined the node in a single click… and it then STILL DOESNT DISAPPER, because it is bugged with the KNOWN BUG where the resource doesn’t disappear.

I found this ACCIDENTLY just spamming mining with my new 25% bonus for having 300 Strength.

Obviously mining your full weight of ORE is possible in seconds with this… so this is a pretty SEVERE issue.

I have not repeated this issue, and am immediately coming here to report it.

I have no intention of purposefully repeating this issue.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit:
I would say this is a Combination of TWO bugs making a BIG MESS when combined.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay:
I got infinite ore in seconds

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue:
I had to throw the ore on the ground to walk away

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:
sorry, i am an old man and dont know how to do that quickly

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
    Described above

Please fix this fast

Has this been fixed? Saw someone complaining about it on Steam and I was wondering if this is what they are referring to.
